According to the SunTimes there was an enormous interest in Cutler and you have to give credit to JA for pulling off what could be the biggest trade in decades......

Looks like the Bears have 7 out of 9 draft picks signed according to Rich Campbell. Still waiting on Leonard Floyd and Jonathon Bullard, which they expect will be announced soon. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0509-story.html

At this time of year it's always fun to read positive remarks from the media. One can only hope they are right, this time. LOL A nice article about 2 of our 6th round picks, RB Herbert & CB Graham.

Do we start to get lucky again with stars not playing at the time we play them. This will be a huge advantage to us with him out.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Chicago Bears return specialist Devin Hester spent a portion of Wednesday’s practice going through individual drills with members of the secondary, and even received one-on-one instruction from defensive backs coach Jon Hoke at the conclusion of the workout. But does this mean Hester, a former collegiate and NFL cornerback, is a candidate to line up on the defensive side of the ball Sunday in St. Louis? “He’ll jump into (the drills) from time to time and get a little work in,” Bears defensive coordinator Mel Tucker said. “But there is really no news there. I’m not in the conversation business.” Hester started games at cornerback and n…

I've seen several comments about how good a group (for receiving) the TEs looked. It appears we'll have more good options outside of the first round. http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/NFP-br...ys-workout.html

Low cost, low risk move here. Former 1st Round pick.

Now this is the article I've been waiting to see. It was only a matter of time! Read this short article. At the end it states that Walter Payton's agent (Bud Holmes) that was quoted in the Biography "May seek legal action if he feels he was misquoted." And denies saying that Walter was an addict or addicted to drugs. http://www.csnchicago.com/10/01/11/Paytons...&feedID=626 Legal action is all the more reason that Jarrett will not comment on twitter or his Radio Shows about this book. I hope justice is served!

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/...-on-the-market/ Decent article. I think Doucet already signed. But there are some players left in the areas the Bears need.

I'm listening to this guy on the radio and he is getting dangerously close when comparing the Saints "bounty" system to when he was with the Bears. We dont need the attention......

might be better then everyone is projecting. here is hoping... http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Potent...ct-players.html

Sounds like he has the right perspective. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...6.column?page=1 Peace

http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=5548 NORTHBROOK, Ill. – Thanks in part to two Bears players, U.S. soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan will enjoy a special meal while watching the Super Bowl a week from Sunday. Punter Brad Maynard and running back Adrian Peterson helped load 2,000 Lou Malnati’s pizzas onto trucks Friday at Lou Malnati’s corporate office in Northbrook. The pizzas will be shipped by DHL to troops in the Middle East through the Pizzas 4 Patriots organization. Brad Maynard and Adrian Peterson pose with soldier Jeff Palenske and retired Air Force Sgt. It's rumored we could be targeting him. He's a somewhat local kid from the "GI" (Gary, Indiana). I actually think he'd be a real good 3-tech, might get a look at DE. Probably looking at 3-4mil. Could probably grab him and another DE, then fix the secondary in the draft.

Supposedly the Chiefs are floating Eric Berry out there for a 2R pick. More than just a few websites are reporting this, but none of them are really mainstream websites. Because of that I'm not really buying it. Also the fact that the Chiefs seemingly don't have an option behind him is another reason to question things. But in the off chance it's true I'd absolutely love for the Bears to make it happen. Hekk I'd give em a 2nd rounder next year too.

Here are the list of Unanimous and Consensus All-Americans that are in the 2015 draft: All-Americans Unanimous Tevin Coleman, RB Landon Collins, DB Amari Cooper, WR Senquez Golson, DB Melvin Gordon, RB Gerod Holliman, DB Tre Jackson, OL Hau'oli Kikaha, LB Marcus Mariota, QB Brandon Scherff, OL Consensus Nick O'Leary, TE Reese Dismukes, OL Laken Tomlinson, OL Vic Beasley, DL Malcom Brown, DL Shane Ray, DL Paul Dawson, LB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, DB Tyler Lockett, KR/PR I see a lot of names that the Bears have been linked to. It is interesting to look back at past award winners and see where they ended up in the draft an…
