Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. Try to keep it clean and most importantly BEAR DOWN! #BEARS #CHICAGOBEARS #BEARDOWN

Its nice to think a national writer has us ranked that high. Elliot Harrison of NFL.com has us ranked 5th. I think that might be a little high, even with the amount of Kool aid I drink every year.

As per http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=7849 He's number #92 and they've only announced 91-100 so far. Urlacher and Peppers will make the list. Maybe Hester???

  5. The Bears lost Tuesday's practice because they apparently exceeded the amount of contact activity earlier in the offseason. Two views on this right now. One is the team is setting the new tone and culture at all costs and losing one non-contact practice is worth the price to have contact earlier in the offseason. On the flip side, this is the second public mishap by the new regime, first the Larry O contract (which potentially prevented the signing of another top FA) and now this.

  6. https://nflmocks.com/2018/02/04/chicago-bea...on-to-the-wind/ There are a couple of moves I do not agree with but overall a pretty good off season. Trading Bullard for a 5th, not a good idea. Drafting James Daniels/OC with #22 seems like a reach. Not cutting Cooper. Otherwise, like the overall picture.

I haven't yet seen the Bengals game but Rashad Coward is getting a lot of positive reviews for his play at RT. Many are saying he's doing well enough, given his very limited experience, that he could be the replacement for Massie at RT next year. I haven't seen the Bengals game yet although there is a replay at 7am. Anyone here take notice of Coward and how he played this past weekend? It sounds as if he had a ton of snaps. If true it would appear the coaches are definitely giving him a chance to learn the position and perhaps stick on the final roster. He's someone to keep an eye on as we get reports back from practices in Denver and then the game.

This is the worst mock I've seen in a long time. 1.Joshua Jackson, CB, Iowa 2.Harold Landry, DE/OLB, Boston College 4.D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland 4.Anthony Miller, WR, Memphis 5.Blace Brown, CB, Troy With the same configuration of picks, the better options are nearly limitless. With little effort, there is this: 1.Orlando Brown, OT, Oklahoma 2.James Washington, WR, Oklahoma State 4.Lorenzo Carter, DE/OLB, Georgia 4.Kevin Toliver, CB, LSU 5.Uchenna Nwosu, DE/OLB, USC Or maybe this, if the Bears are dead set on using their pick on the perceived best CB: 1.Joshua Jackson, CB, Iowa 2.Arden Key, DE/OLB, LSU 4.Martinas Rankin, OT, Mississ…

3 prime time games in 4 weeks, the league must be noticing something. 2 out of 3 at Soldier Field. If KC beats LAR, we could be playing for a first round bye at that point.

Looking at the teams we play this year we stand a great chance of having a really good season...if its measured by the play of the QB. we really have only the Packers, 49ers, Cowboys and the Texans with a QB with more than seven years starting/playing time. Not saying that the other ones cant get it done but just look at these QB'S. So we play two games against two rookies, 5 games against QB'S that were rookies last year, 4 games against 3/4 year QB'S, and 5 games against QB'S that have been in the NFL 8 years or more.. 1. Colts QB Luck ® 2. Packers QB Rodgers (8) 3. Rams QB Bradford (3) 4. Cowboys QB Romo (9) 5. Jaguars QB Gilbert (2) 6. Lions QB Staffo…

  17. Where literally the entire board agreed on something? When it came to other coaches / players / personnel moves, we always have a healthy debate. I think this is the only time in the history of the site, I can remember everyone being 1000% on board with a move. The way I see it...if we are all on board, than maybe, just maybe, Bears ownership would be too. PS: I'm an optimist, so no matter how bad the situation for our franchise, I figure you got to find a way to somehow see humor in this mess! This humor happens to be talkbears harmony during the holidays!

Thayer has some good analysis on our fullback and how he impacted the game. There was some discussion after the Giants game about how ineffective we were on runs up the middle but it was hit and miss. I felt it was worth sharing as it explains why the Giants impacted that with their 8 man fronts even using the 46 Defense at times. http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/vid...2d-260208440f47

I've been in Thailand all winter bored and retired. I have probably averaged 4 hours a day with football content. It doesn't make me some kind of expert but has given me a perspective. They are players I like that I think will be great, good or a sleeper type. I like players that are productive, has attitude, hard workers and love football. In no particular order just some players I like. Weapons: Mathew Golden/ WR , jaylon Noel/WR, Tyler Warren/ TE, Harold Fannin Jr/ TE, Jeanty/ RB, Hampton/RB, Judkins/ RB, OL: Campbell/ multi spots, Armand Membou/ multi spots, Grey Zabel/ multi spots,, Johan Savaiinaea/ OG, Ersery/LT, Marcus Mbow/OC,, Donavon Jackson/OG…

With all the shit going down in NOs, would it be interesting if they let Brees go, and signed P. Manning as there new QB. That would be a big distraction to the pending issues that will go down in the south.
