I've only been able to watch 5min of this but already I think it's so good it deserves it's own thread. This is a drive from a game last year as his prep for doing this each week post-game.

I know Pace is gone, but it is interesting that he was relentlessly hounded for the Trubisky flop (rightfully so), but then also criticized for Fields as well; while during those two drafts, Lynch drafted Solomon Thomas, then traded up for Trey Lance, who now looks to go into his 3rd season as QB3 behind Brock Purdy and Sam Darnold. If SF drafts Mahomes in 2017 or even Watson for that matter, they probably win the SB in 2019 and have a good shot of making it back in 2021 and 2022. These are Lynch's 1st round picks since 2017: 2017 - 3rd Overall - Solomon Thomas 2018 - 9th Overall - Mike McGlinchey (no longer on team) 2019 - 2nd Overall - Nick Bosa 2…

This might be my new found passion. So I see a link for a game preview for Bears - Packers here: https://www.playerprofiler.com/article/nfl-best-bets-week-1-2023/ They are obviously picking the Packers, on the Moneyline +100, which is fine. However, their reasoning is bassackwards. If they just said Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon will run over the Bears so Love can play game manager while the defense forces turnovers and good field position for a close win, I would be totally ok with that. Very reasonable. This however, is just plain dumb: In the article, they state: 1. "this Packers offense will be good enough to take advantage of a Bears defense that was…

Just saw this - Id never heard anything so direct about the McCaskeys before. We surely suffered as a result for many decades, I hope Warren is strong enough to keep them at bay.

On Thursday, Chicago traded for Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen, adding the six-time Pro Bowler in exchange for a fourth-round pick (No. 110). Allen turns 32 next month and has had trouble staying healthy. He missed seven games with a hamstring strain in 2022 before shoulder and heel issues sidelined him in 2023. Allen is…

  10. Started by adam,

The Bears have the T-15th best roster WITHOUT A QB, LMAO! ? If you add an average QB with a score of 2.0, the Bears would move to a top 8 team. Also, I think they are low balling the RBs and WRs. So Saquon on the Eagles is a 3.4, but Swift, Herbert, Roschon is only a 2.0 on the Bears? Also, Moore/Allen is only a 2.8, but the Eagles Brown/Smith is a 3.8? Their WR3 is DeVante Parker who is terrible now. If the Bears get an elite Edge or DT, that would bump those units up from 1.8 and 0.6 respectively. They believe our DTs are the 4th worst in the NFL. Only the Browns have a better LB-CB-S combo score. Bears are #2 there, which is impressive.

  11. Started by Mongo3451,

We've seen it day to day and year to year. The media is like the frog waiting to catch the next fly. It seems like no matter what channel you watch or starting you time into, the narrative is the same. They are irresponsibly reporting everything from politics to religion to racial matters every damn day. Why should it be so different when hearing about it Bears? The media, nation wide, has gone from "what the hell did the Bears do to Justin Fields? To, my God, I can't wait for the Caleb Williams era"! I watched ESPN , rolled my eyes and turned the channel. Watched GMFB and ditto. Our my headphones on to ride the stationary bike, ditto! I'm sick of it. That'…

  12. With them participating in hall of fame game - they can start training camp early. I don't know if that means we have more practices than other teams or if it is just you start earlier and have more off days. I'm presuming more practices - which hopefully is a good thing (presuming they manage player health etc). The actual extra pre-season game, meaningless to me - but probably cool for Bears to be there given Mongo getting into the Hall.

Odunze looks even better than advertised. If not for Caleb, Rome would be the talk of the town. Recently, he talked about breaking Puca's rookie receiving records and talked about how they played together at Washington. That is a great personal goal, but with Moore, Allen, Kmet, Everett, and Swift also looking to eat, I don't think Odunze will break the records, but I still think he will have a better season than most are projecting. There are 28 rookies who broke 1K yards, I think Odunze will do that. There are only 3 players to break 100 catches, Nacua, Waddle, and Boldin. What is interesting to me is there are no other players over 92 receptions, as Michael …

    If the Bears remove the negative players, this offense will get going. Swift is historically bad and replacing him with a tackling dummy would be a positive at this point. The below are promising trends, now Williams just needs to cut down on the INTs and they will be cooking: Williams Yards 93 > 174 > 363 Comp% 48.3% > 62.2% > 63.5% Y/A 3.2 > 4.7 > 7.0 TD 0 > 0 > 2 INT 0 > 2 > 2 Sacks 2 > 7 > 4 Odunze Yards 11 > 33 > 112 Rec 1 > 2 > 6 TD 0 > 0 > 1 Kmet Yards 4 > 27 > 97 Rec 1 > 4 > 10 TD 0 > 0 > 1

So we have hired a new DL coach. Hes apparently had success with DLs everywhere hes gone. He teaches an attacking style, and was Jacksonville's DL coach last year, where he coached Travon Walker to a career high 10.5 sacks. Jacksonville's DC Ryan Neilson, was Dennis Allen's DL coach at New Orleans. I like pairing him with 69 year old Bill Johnson who is a defensive assistant, and was also a DL coach under Dennis Allen in New Orleans.

  19. Reports are swirling around the possibility that Derek Carr may need surgery and be out indefinitely. With the Saints at the 9th pick that puts a QB in the mix at their pick.

  20. Started by adam,

Honestly, in my lifetime, I can't remember a team with a better, deeper collective group of receivers than this team with: Moore, Odunze, Burden, Zaccheaus, Loveland, Kmet, and Swift. The best that I can remember for the Bears was 2014 with Marshall, Jeffery, Bennett, and Forte who all 4 of them had over 100 targets. I asked some different AI's to give me a list of the best Receiving Corps in NFL history. The 1999 Rams were considered the best, and I can understand that at the top end, the Bears do not compete with Bruce, Holt, and Faulk, but from Receiving option #4-#7, I think the Bears have the edge. Isaac Bruce (WR): A second-round pick in 1994,…
