https://www.bigblueview.com/2020/1/19/21072940/2020-nfl-draft-prospects-profiling-the-players-you-need-to-know-about It's a NYG site but I love how they break down the players. Just found very interesting. Another way to waste a few hours in the day.

We've now signed two guys that none of us had a clue the Bears were in contact with. We're getting smoke screens on St. Clair and Sharper and then we sign Omiyale and Bullocks. Since the Bears aren't targeting any big name players, the media has no clue who the Bears are targeting unless they a) start calling all the agents b.) the agent volunteers the news to the media, but doubtful with a lesser name player c) Bears volunteer the news, also doubtful unless a smokescreen or trying to lure another team to start a bidding war. I believe there used to be inside moles that would leak some info to the media previously, but with some harsh words printed the past few ye…

At this time of year it's always fun to read positive remarks from the media. One can only hope they are right, this time. LOL A nice article about 2 of our 6th round picks, RB Herbert & CB Graham.

  7. Evidently Albert Breer was reporting today that the Bears have been in touch with Ngakoue's reps recently. I have to imagine he is there plan B - depending on how things shake out. I don't know how much he has left - but got to imagine Bears could get him between 5-7M for 1YR. He has flaws - but not bad from a depth perspective and you don't feel bad if other guys play their way into his role (in fact you prefer it). I presume he would be the passing down end - and it would allow you to slide Walker inside on those plays.

Who is/are our backup QBS? Can we get a Brock Purdy-type with our last compensatory pick? Or will they go with a vet? And will his style be similar to Fields'? Just curious.

I like everybody on here but have issues with one. Everybody sees that , I dont really care what he thinks. I dont want to piss everyone else off so after fantasy season , if you guys want me to leave , I'm okay with that. Im not asking anyone to pick a side but if it bothers everybody, I'm not sure there is another way. I have tried to be civil in this matter but if someone thinks every comment is secreting referring to him, i can't do anything about that. . Just let me know. If you want this conflict to end, i will hold no animosity towards anyone. Someone needs to step up. So far Mongo and Killz have voiced their opinions, I get it, its not personal in any w…

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0922-story.html “So with Kyle, I just need him to -- he has to be a true professional, and he has to be a true studier of film. And more importantly, he has to play with his strengths. If you’re going to press a guy, you have to make sure you put your hands on a guy. You can’t line up in front of a guy and then not disrupt him whatsoever.” --------------------------------------------------- Rare to hear such straightforward talk. Perhaps a little too much success early last year before he tailed off later in the season, then perhaps too much confidence in those positive things the new coaches said shortly after …

I'm old school and I love the special teams aspect of football. It provides some of the most exciting plays each year whether it is kickoff and punt returns, to even FG at the closing seconds of the game. Fans are fixated on these moments. Even a missed extra point these days, since they moved it back to the 15yd line, can change the emotions of the game. How many here remember the FG block in the Bears - Packers game after Walter Payton passed away? If you are not familiar with him, Rick Gosselin does some outstanding analysis and reporting on the game. Not that it’s a huge surprise but Brady has officially said it’s over in NE. Does that mean anything for Chicago? We’ll soon see. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/sports/tom-brady-announces-he-leaving-new-england-patriots-n1161476

  18. Our seats sucked so we stood in the concourse in North endzone and watched on the Jumbo TV. Well long story short, it turned into a big old party which made it hard to watch every play. How did the Oline play? How was Tices play call? How did Cutler look overall? His numbers were not that bad... When did they pull the starters? Anyone else think Urlacher looked slow on that INT return? Maybe it was my beer googles lol Is this D fun to watch or what????

I know we have read articles about Kromer before and we certainly all have concerns over our OL going into 2013. I noticed this new article on the Bears official website. I am usually leary of anything posted there as many times it seems as self serving propaganda. However, I liked this one as it gave a good amount of feedback from N.O. Saints OLmen. I am anxious to see what he can do for us. New Aaron Kromer Article

  20. Pace has taken a lot of heat by his overall draft: Trubisky, I dont think many will complain about actually taking MT its the trading up the one spot that deserves criticism Shaneen has yet to produce but being a 2nd round pick , you expect more this spot in the draft. Cohen and Jackson were taken in the fourth being we gave away our 3 rd pick. Great choices Mogan got drafted in the 5th with the jury still out on but looks like a potential future starter. Re doing the draft with out the trade #1 Still take MT but with the third pick. ( He looks like a potential franchise QB that we had to address in this draft) We could have later taken Watson but t…
