The team would like Rolle to return, and both sides continue to talk about a potential return.

I never really thought they had much of a chance, but if San Diego made it to the Superbowl, we would have moved up a draft slot. Well, baring some miracle, the Steelers are thumping them right now and are gonna be in the AFC championship game. So, our official draft slota on the first day will be: -18th pick in round 1, 18th overall -17th pick in round 2, 49th overall The rest of our picks now are pretty much contingent on how Arizona does next week, and where all the comp picks go to.

Thought this was interesting - one because he is a really good candidate, but 2 the timing. Seemed quick given they are likely to focus on a GM first. The only reason you would want to fast track some of the coaches might be because there are a few you think you might move on before you hire a GM (i.e., Harbaugh).

I don't know about you, but I didn't expect this kind of season from our kicker. Santos broke all kinds of franchise records and ended the season making 27 straight kicks. His only misses were from 46 and 52, with one blocked XP. I really hope we can lock him up for a few years and not have to worry about kicking. Then our favorite ex-kicker Parkey is prepping to let down another entire fanbase in Cleveland in the playoffs.

Now that I've started to look at the draft more closely, I wanted to get some reaction to those who watched more college football than I did regarding a couple players who seem to fit what the Bears might want, but who I haven't heard mentioned much on this board: Max Unger, OL, Oregon - Started for four years, beginning at LT and finishing at center and can probably play every position on the line. Looking at his measurables and combine performance, I can't help but be reminded of Branden Albert last year, who played OG but everyone projected could play LT. Obviously we all hope he has better talent evalution skills for first round talent. But that's not my #1 hope for Phil. You all know I've been harping about the O Line for ages and I'm assuming we'll address it better than JA did in his years at the helm. But no, that's not it either. As far as my biggest hope for a difference from JA, I'd have to say I'd want better luck at avoiding injury-prone guys. I don't know if it was just JA taking flyers on guys with known injury issues or bad health histories, or just bad luck. So there you have it... Draft guys who will actually play some football for us. Sounds pretty basic.

I have Vick and Desean and Bears D. Bears have always owned Vick, in contrast Desean Jackson always kills Bears. I also have Miami DST against Oakland I have Mark Sanchez who is begging me to start him. Any advice
