Ok, so as long as I'm overblowing little things and reading too much into them, here's a good one about Desai. Jackson compared his style more to "Vic" Fangio than "Chuck" Pagano - seems to indicate that his responsibilities would be more similar to Fangio's defense than last year's. GOOD. If we field and explosive offense, then a gambling defense is a good pairing with that. No need to play it so safe. Maybe that's why the pass rush was kind of sleepy too. And he also said that Desai was being tough with the players. Also great to see. I like to hear this, getting Jackson back to prime form would be huge for this defense.

Now that we have a staff in place, as well as other teams, lets look again at the 2015 schedule: Home: Detroit Lions - W - I think we split with Detroit this year Green Bay Packers - L - We are probably another year from truly competing with GB Minnesota Vikings - W - We should've beaten them twice last year, but the last game actually put us in a better position Arizona Cardinals - W - Bowles gone, team played over their heads, 4-4 on the road last year, this one could go either way San Francisco 49ers - W - Brand new coaching staff, watch Tomsula's Comcast interview, and we will have a lot of insight into their schemes Washington Redskins - W - Horrib…

Found this article on SI.com. It's a good read, and yes, he played "End" at 170lbs. https://www.si.com/vault/1977/12/05/622015/...-woman-under-48

Here's my wish list for 2024. Ryan Poles GM Ben Johnson HC Vic Fangio DC asst HC Joe Brady OC Poles has done a great job of bringing in talent, despite the bungling of Flus. I'm not sure if the failure of Getsy is a result of Flus being too conservative or Getsy just not getting it. Too bad you sad. You had your shot. I'm sure Poles has already passed judgement on Justin. What he thinks, I don't know. But, for some reason, I trust him. Regardless of anything, Flus has to go. There is no room in the NFL for conservative coaches. Modern players just don't respond to it.

Thanks to RockfordBears for the thought... Lovie Smith is Coach Dale The similarities are astounding. Neither has a clue how to adjust to any gametime situation. Both are stuck in "their system" so much that other concepts are an affront to their knowledge. In fact, they run their system to the fault of their team's talent. How else can we explain the fact that Coach Dale wanted to give the ball to someone other than Jimmy, who was shooting 98% throughout the playoffs? Speaking of that, both mismanage their players' talents. Much like Coach Dale, Lovie insists on forcing the square peg into the round hole, or maybe everyone else is wrong () about the cover-2 …

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/...ackers-to-lose/ Shocker: Brian Urlacher wants the Packers to lose Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on January 28, 2011, 4:01 PM EST Yeah, we know. Of course Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher isn’t going to be rooting for the Packers on Super Bowl Sunday. It’s still fun to hear a player genuinely dislike the team that just beat him. “Hell no, I’m not rooting for the Packers in the Super Bowl,” Urlacher said on ESPN 1000 Friday. “I have a ton of respect for that organization and the head coach, but I don’t want them to win the Super Bowl. They’re in our division, I want them to lose.” Thank you, Brian. That’s h…

With Demps designated to return, the Bears can no longer bring back Kevin White this year, which officially ends his season. Demps joins Hall as the two (and only) players that the Bears can designate to return from IR.

Here we go. We need to go into the bye at 4-1 or 5-0. The next 11 are tough. I am hoping 6-5 in that set, but 5-6 looks more realistic. Back to back Thursday Night games are in interesting. The Cowboys will also be coming off a Thanksgiving game like us and traveling to Chicago. We will be coming home from Detroit. So I think we have the edge there. The only back to back away games are Week 2 and 3 with Week 3 being a MNF game against Washington. That gives us an extra day of rest which helps on the back to back away games. Week 1: Green Bay Packers (NFL Kickoff Game) - W (after last year, I can't see us losing this game, HHCD Revenge Game) Week 2: at Denver Br…

“We have a great relationship,” Trubisky said. “It all started last year, and it’s just going to keep growing better and better. It’s just that player-coach relationship, that constant communication and just me doing whatever he wants and envisions and translating that right to the field. "me doing whatever he wants". Can't see McMahon ever saying anything like that about Ditka. Different time but same place.

Looks like we'll see a new KR/PR this week. Maybe we'll see him at WR on a few plays as the Bears explore options for next season at slot WR. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/article-1...5f-e22d2b573b31 Roster moves: The Bears on Tuesday promoted rookie running back Bralon Addison from the practice squad to the active roster, officially placed receiver Eddie Royal on injured reserve and waived offensive lineman Cornelius Edison. Addison entered the NFL this year with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent from Oregon. He spent the offseason with Denver before being waived prior to the start of the regular season. 1. ted phillips - great bean counter and cap guru. accomplishments: great stadium deal if you are the owner and cheap help. all designed to keep money in owners pockets. 2. jerry angelo - cheap first time GM who is great as a cap guru and, as phillips right hand man, helps keep money in owners pockets. accomplishments: great cap management which helps put cash in owners pockets but after 7 years of drafts has nothing/nothing special to show for it on either side of the ball. hired the cheapest inexperienced coaches and staff possible and sees no need to change any of them after 2 pathetic back-to-back seasons of regressive mediocrity. won't rock the salary boat…

Well I guess the Lions showed that they have done things right. Crawled out of the slime after 60 years and kicked the Bears ass into it! Not to use a bad cliche but this team got old before our eyes. Anyone who was watching saw the shark get jumperd. OK, I'm done but time to get the draino out and flush everyone, and I mean everyone, down the drain. Starting with the GM and not stopping till you get to, well not stopping. Meaning Cutler and Forte if thats what it takes. They are the only players young enough to maybe keep if after you dump what few player might bring something in return. Sad part is I don't see many players you would get anything for. Other …
