First, Mondays game was awesome. Seeing our offense do what they did was crazy. Reminded me of the first 5 weeks of 2005 when Great Rex was showing up. Couple of thoughts tho 1. I expected the Offense to hit this type of stride come week 8 or 9. New Coach, system, oline. It takes time for a offense to gel. He signed a 5M contract last year after putting up 9 sacks, this year he's less productive because he's apart of a deep Seahawk defense that rotates 4 DEs, I can imagine the Bears can get him for that same amount per year on a multi year deal.

I'm wondering if anyone here happened to DVR the game? If so I would gladly pay for the time, effort, and materials to have the game put on DVD. I've been trying to find a torrent of it and have had no luck, nor could I find it on a couple auction sites that sometimes list games.

Well we hopefully will get the answer to the big question. Is the Cutler going to get that long contract? If he dominates I would think he gets a pretty good contract. If he plays like shit Im not sure what would happen. If he plays decent then I would lean to the Tag. Three options: 1. He dominates the rest of the games 2. Plays decent or a little better then the beginning of the season 3. Looks like crap, almost Cutler in the Lovie era (which im not sure is possible) What do you guys think will play out with each option?

We now get to see Cutler back under center for better or for worst. He will get us back on his bandwagon or cause much talk about McCown again. I hope he does well, we win out and make the playoffs. But: as the season goes we will probably win 2 of the next 3 and not make the playoffs. Lions have a better 3 games to deal with than we do. So for Christmas I would like us to win out(first choice) or lose out and get the best draft position we can grab. So what do you want for Christmas?

I think Balta has been a little busy lately, so I'll step into his role. Tough matchup for Jays return. Thanks for nothing Dallas. Monumental collapse on their part. As much as Cutler frustrates me, I'd rather have him than Romo. Not to jump ahead because the Philly game scares me but the Pucker win sets up Rodgers return for the season finale.

Instead of debating who should start or what the best option going forward may be, how about asking why? Q: Why is Cutler starting? A: Because there's an old tradition that the starter does not lose his job to injury. Why? It's a message of loyalty and confidence to the team. Nobody wants to sacrifice their body for a coach or team with the thought that their standing will be lost during rehab. A: Because they need more film on Cutler. Why? Smith vs Kaepernick. Why? Smith was 7-0 and the highest rated QB in the NFL then loses his job to Kaepernick. SF goes on to the SB as favorite and were beaten soundly until the power outage. Karma's a bitch…

Holy shit! Win out and the Bears are in.

If he wins out, especially showing that he can defeat the Packers at home...and especially if Rodgers plays.... He will be our QB for years to come. If not, it'll probalby come down to money. If he doesn't fleece us, he's still probably our QB. But if it is way too much money, we will probably look elsewhere. Whether is Josh & a pick, or a new guy potentially like Cousins. It' simply all on Jay. And I for one am rooting for him big time. I truly hope he delivers what we've all been hoping for. People keep gving McCown credit for seeing the light on being a good QB...let's give Jay more than one rusty game after injury to try to show the same. …
