Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. Try to keep it clean and most importantly BEAR DOWN! #BEARS #CHICAGOBEARS #BEARDOWN

  1. I've followed Bears drafts since the 60's and this is the first time I see a selection that looked pissed off that he wasn't drafted earlier.!

  2. Started by adam,

If this doesn't show you how much this guy is for himself, then nothing will. So the team basically said we don't want you doing that during the season, and he took offense to that because it would hurt his brand. Ridiculous. “When I sat down with Ryan Pace and coach John Fox, we met, and I asked, ‘What do you guys think about this?’ It was a big topic. And Ryan Pace said, ‘Well, we can do that in the offseason.’ So I was like, ‘Well, what about half the season?’ ‘No.’ ‘What about once or twice?’ ‘No.’ ‘What about bye week?’ ‘No, you can do that in the offseason.’” Marshall said that he wanted to continue to do the show not just to set up a potential career as a…

Looks like we'll see a new KR/PR this week. Maybe we'll see him at WR on a few plays as the Bears explore options for next season at slot WR. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/article-1...5f-e22d2b573b31 Roster moves: The Bears on Tuesday promoted rookie running back Bralon Addison from the practice squad to the active roster, officially placed receiver Eddie Royal on injured reserve and waived offensive lineman Cornelius Edison. Addison entered the NFL this year with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent from Oregon. He spent the offseason with Denver before being waived prior to the start of the regular season. This short video gives a good glimpse into how Kromer coaches the oline. I have no clue about how past Oline coaches and OCs have done things but I do like Kromer's level of detail and decisiveness in how they have to do things, especially the combination blocks, my term for delayed blitzes and stunts, which I think we've really struggled with the last few years. http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/vid...dd-4621beb1c3ba

Are we just saying he's done, or is there some minor chance he could play, let's say in the Super Bowl? Did we officially shut him down the rest of the way per league rules?

  8. Here is to hoping Phil does a waaaaaayyyyyyy better job than JA. There is no control as to who is there at 19 but Phil controls who he does pick. That also goes for the 2nd round and 3rd round. I cant take another Dan Bazuin type pick. The Bears need to get a couple of guys who contribute now!!! He already got a WR, not saying another wouldnt be nice but who ever he picks they must be able to do more than Dan Bazuin did in the 2nd.

We all see the Power Rankings year after year and think the media hates the Bears. I honestly think there is a bias because of the rug-burned knees while covering Farv and Erin for the past 20+ years. While the Power Rankings this year don't seem to tell a different tale, the point spreads do. Bears 2023 Schedule ATS Week 1: Packers at Bears -2.5 Week 2: Bears -1 at Buccaneers Week 3: Bears at Chiefs -9.5 Week 4: Broncos -1 at Bears Week 5: Bears at Commanders -1 Week 6: Vikings at Bears (Pick em) Week 7: Raiders at Bears -1.5 …

  14. Mahomes vs Trubisky, Reid vs Nagy, Butker vs Pineiro! A bunch of storylines this week, except the Bears at 7-7 have very little to play for while the Chiefs are essentially only jockeying for the #3 or #4 seed. The #4 seed gets Buffalo and the #3 seed gets Pittsburgh or Tennessee. After that loss, and how it ended on the 2 yard line. I don't know how the Bears get up for this game. I am thinking the secondary gets torched by KC as no one can stay with Hill, Hardiman, or Kelce. Mahomes might be out at halftime with a huge lead. The Bears have too many injuries and nothing to play for. The offense is still a mess, so it could get ugly. I am thinking Chiefs 34…

It's been a challenging offseason for Tarik and, not surprisingly, he's still coming to grips with this tragedy. https://www.greensboro.com/sports/ed-hardin-tarik-cohen-returns-to-a-t-finds-inspiration/article_5ab30b6c-a5ad-11e9-b131-a3407fbdb947.html#1

Looking like I might squeak out a win this week. Even if I don't I should remain the #2 seed in my league. But there are enough teams that could challenge me for that spot and things go really poorly I could even find myself on the outside looking in if I don't win next week (especially if I don't pull it out this week. In our league we have a waiver priority number rather than a FAB system. The priorities don't reset each week. So I currently have the #2 priority. If I use it I move to the back of the line. I've been hit hard with injuries and COVID so the waiver wire has been extra important down the stretch. I'm wondering if there is a player out there that is …
