TE…. is there anyone looking like a decent backup to Martellus Bennett? I haven't seen or heard much about Rosario or any of the others at this position. In the next couple games, Forte could eclipse the 10,000 yards total mark for the Bears. Currently he sits at 6,748 yards rushing and 3.005 yards receiving. That's amazing considering he is only in the beginning of his 7th year and has missed a few games with injury.

So, tell me if I'm crazy for thinking this, but what if the Bears are actually benefiting from playing all of these games against zone-read teams with athletic QB's? They got a major taste of it with the Eagles and Seahawks in pre-season, and right off the bat in the regular season, they get the Bills, 49'ers, and Jets in back-to-back-to-back weeks. They've been awful at defending it up until this game. They still allowed like 120 yards on the ground today, but it feels different this time. While there was nothing spectacular on our KRs I did like the speed and vision Rashad Ross showed later in the game. He's in a tough spot after only joining the team on Sep 1st and just a few weeks later he's out there auditioning for a full-time role. I couldn't find much on him in terms of draft profile and I don't remember him as a standout at ASU. That is what needs to happen this week at a minimum. If there are not changes made this week, we need to seriously boycott. Do not attend anymore home games, leave Soldier Field empty and see how that goes over.
