Who's idea was it to get rid of Chris Harris? Angelo or Lovie? I know hindsight is 20/20 but seriously there was no need for this move at the time. Even at the time I was thinking this wasnt neccesary. Imagine him in our backfield now.

Obviously Olsen didn't help but this is on RON TURNER. Fire his ass now.

  4. The older I get the less I agree with being a sports traditionalist. I want exciting and cutting edge and more respect for what we can do offensively! Yes, I did love the way we pounded the rock in week one against Indy but we were able to dictate the pace and control the line of scrimmage. Week 2 has shown that right now if we do not control the line of scrimamge for 60 minutes we can not adjust to compete in a shoot out ala teams like the Broncos, Dallas, Philly, and Greenbay! In Baseball I think both leagues should have a DH casue I can't stand watching the pitcher bat. Pitching and def are very important in baseball as is running the ball and keeping the oppone…

will we see Earl Bennett this week returning kicks? Regardless if Hester is hurt or not, we could at least use a reciever

  6. Some seasons you can't point to a defining moment, which shaped the course of the season, for better or for worse. In 2001 I'd say it was the miracle catch by Raymont Harris vs. San Fran, and then the following interception for a return by Mike Brown. In 2002 I'd say it was Leon Johnson trying to catch the punt with his face-mask. In 2007, when the Bears had the lead vs. Dallas and Bernard Berrian let a certain touchdown bounce of his hands. In 2008, the Bears have moment, we have a 17 to 3 lead, and we had a Carolina team that looked frustrated. Greg Olsen hands Carolina the ball in scoring position. Carolina scores, momentum shifts . . . the end. …

bowlingtwig & marked both came in with 12 wins this week, with bowlingtwig inching out marked for 1st place with the tie-breaker. Great job fella. Looks like this is going to be a tough contest this year. 2 weeks with lots of games left, a lot of entrants with some very impressive scores. As of the end of week 2 - 58.1% is 12th place. That winning percentage usually will take first place by the end of the year in previous year results.

He left the game on a cart with a rib injury?

  9. Started by Ed Hochuli 3:16,

Matt Forte is a stud. I loved this guy coming out and he reminds me of Brian Westbrook- he can catch it and run it, and he could have 3 TDs so far rushing. This guy is going to be our back for a long time now, barring injuries. Thoughts?

You have to admit that this game was ours. Turner lost it for us not just the players. Fourth and one and you give the ball to McKie? Here we have a 6'7' TE sitting on the bench a 6'5' TE on the field and you do not even think about the bootleg roll out pass to either one? You are in the red zone and you use neither one of them...Turner you are a dumb OC and need to go.

  11. Started by BearSox,

This offense obviously does suck, but Ron Turner had some of the worst play calling in this game I have ever seen. He should be fired on the spot and be replaced with anyone with half a brain.

  12. Started by kledanhoj,

I'm sorry but this team cannot win with a pedestrian QB. I like Orton but 150 yards per game will not work in the NFL. The D is outstanding but they cannot continually bail out an inept Offense. This going to be a frustrating season.. All u have to do is look around the league at teams scoring a bunch of points.

What the hell they thinking? I totaly believe the coaches lost this game, Cant even make one yard when Forte had about 100? WTF they thinking.

I know this may be looking too far ahead, but: I'd love to get back on the road to Detroit and Atlanta being 3-1, but 2-2 wouldn't hurt. To be 2-1 going into that SNF game vs the Eagles would be great, and the crowd will be pumped up. Philadelphia is good, and it'll be tough. If we can be 2-2 after these next 2 games, we could be 4-2 after the next 2 because Detroit is bad and so is Atlanta. So, 4-2, coming home vs a pretty good team in Minnesota, maybe 4-3. Then, we get Detroit at home (5-3), then Tennessee at home, and that might be a 7-3 final score, but I think we'll pull it, especially if Vince Young is at the helm (6-3). We have a semi-e…

  16. Started by jason,

That was one of the dumbest friggin calls in the history of the Bears. 1) Forte was effective 2) McKie is not a good runner 3) The passing game was not effective 4) Everyone in the stadium knew the Bears were going to run What the hell? This game is all on the offense, specifically Ron Turner and Kyle Orton.

  17. Started by bowlingtwig,

We are finally using Rashied. After all those times last week when we showed a possible end run we finally do run the end around and it works. The play calling is completely different from last year. Are we sure we still have the same coaches.

  18. Started by Bears4Ever_34,

Is this guy ever going to show up? Is he hurt? I don't think he's getting constantly double teamed but I could be wrong. Harrison has more of an impact than Harris does at this point in time. I think I heard Tommie's name once in 2 games so far. Anybody else worried?

  19. Started by Ed Hochuli 3:16,

To be 2-0 coming home would be special...

  20. Started by GrizzlyBear,

My guess is Orton shines big in this game. Last week was a great confidence builder and he will use a lot of 3 step drops to get em to recievers. Both tight ends will shine because of the 3 step drops. Look for multiple TD's from them. Hester will break one on a recieveing play deep. It will have to happen to keep the D honest. I think Mckie will have a real tough game. His blocking will be key in the running game and I think he will get blown up. Babitch could have a real bad called game here. He will keep 7 in the box close but not close enough, if he doesnt call this game perfect we could be in for long day.
