  5. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/ John Mullin of Comcast SportsNet Chicago reports that the Bears plan to release backup running back Chester Taylor this offseason. The report points out that 2011 would be Taylor’s age-32 season, and “his arrow is definitely not pointing up.” Taylor averaged 2.38 yards per carry during the 2010 regular season, a dreadful mark even if some of his rushing attempts were of the short-yardage variety. He exhibited very little burst between the tackles. The Bears signed Taylor to a four-year, $12.5 million contract last March and have already paid him $7 million. Taylor’s base salary in 2011 is schedu…

I've been in Thailand all winter bored and retired. I have probably averaged 4 hours a day with football content. It doesn't make me some kind of expert but has given me a perspective. They are players I like that I think will be great, good or a sleeper type. I like players that are productive, has attitude, hard workers and love football. In no particular order just some players I like. Weapons: Mathew Golden/ WR , jaylon Noel/WR, Tyler Warren/ TE, Harold Fannin Jr/ TE, Jeanty/ RB, Hampton/RB, Judkins/ RB, OL: Campbell/ multi spots, Armand Membou/ multi spots, Grey Zabel/ multi spots,, Johan Savaiinaea/ OG, Ersery/LT, Marcus Mbow/OC,, Donavon Jackson/OG…

I view Kromer as a straightforward guy who won't spin things. It was nice to hear him discuss the talent level of the offense and the improvement from last year to this year. He's not discussing the starters rather the depth on the roster specifically the Oline depth and TE options we have on the roster. http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/vid...27-f4c0766bf86e

http://sports.espn.go.com/fantasy/football...tory?id=4856465 First Team Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers (Average Draft Position: 35.5): He may have been the fourth quarterback taken in most leagues, but he certainly proved to be the most valuable. The only blemish on his 2009 slate was a Week 14 "clunker" against the Chicago Bears when he totaled just seven fantasy points. Rodgers had 10 weeks with multiple passing touchdowns, helping him to finish head and shoulders ahead of his peers, finishing with 47 more fantasy points than the next-best signal-caller. Running Back Chris Johnson, Tennessee Titans (ADP: …

Pace talked today ahead of the combine and he was very open. He said that he's already talked with Willie young and he will be released and said that Mike Glennon has something in his contract that prohibits the team from releasing him until the new league yr starts however he will be released as well

The problem is do we sign St. Clair at RT then we need another swing OT who do we get one from FA or the draft. But at what spot in the draft #1 pick? We need a WR and a FS but same process and which rounds do you get them? These three positions are a must for the Bears. DE yes but not pressing just yet, SLB yet but not pressing, and RG. We should have alot of head sratching going on shortly folks.
