We are off to a good start to the 2020 season. However, we still have 4 GMs that have not paid their league dues yet. Leaguesafe imposes a $10 fee on late payments, so there is not much I can do there. https://leaguesafe.com/join/3948858 The updated deadline is now set to Sunday, September 27th. This is a great example of the difference between Foles and Trubisky. Foles does this all game long. Trubisky has to get the call from the sidelines, then just executes it to the first read regardless of coverage. So he does make some amazing throws like the ones to Miller but then also throws into triple coverage to ARob. Foles adjusted this play, the receiver, the rub, and the protections all while the defense shifted. Very cool to see a play broken down to this level. So now Foles needs to work on the timing of routes with his receivers. I looked at our stats from last year (brutal) and compared to what we have so far this year. The offense, overall has improved in most areas and only regressed slightly in Passing Yards per game (by 3), Rushing YPC, by 0.09, and Comp% by about 3% (not as many Forte dink and dunks). Anyone got the Bears selection order for this draft as of now? For some reason I keep thinking I read somewhere that our picks for compensation were gonna be pretty good this year. But anyone got what picks we do have before the news of what we are getting from Vikes?

Admittedly I've never liked much of what Jones has done on the field. Despite having outstanding athleticism he seemed to have little ability to diagnose a play and get into the right position to stop it. Now just two weeks into this camp and here's Jone's being listed as one of the most improved players. If true he along with Kwiatkoski could give us excellent depth at ILB. Jones ability to run (and hopefully cover TEs) fits better as the backup to Trevathan while Kwit's skills fit better behind Freeman. GB is 3-4 lol. This has been a great season for the Packers losing and looking like crap. Now a loss to Washington. I wonder if Rodgers will get any crap? He had 146 yds passing before the garage time prevent defense allowed 50 yds passing. His 2 TDs were to a RB, so technically going into the last drive he had 93 passing yds to WRs and TEs and ended with 141 yds passing to non-RBs. He had 4 more passing yards than Fields, but Fields had 88 rushing yards to his 0. Where is the media outrage? GB's last 5 games, 3 straight losses, a 3 pt win against NE, and a 2 pt win against TB.

I really like George Pickens. Like everyone else, I have quite a few WRs I like in this draft. Yet in terms of the ability to go get the ball, where ever it is, I don't think there is a more QB friendly receiver in this draft. He has quick hands and despite tight coverage it's usually one touch and done. I know he's got some learning to do on his routes but that's why we pay our coaches a lot of money. He also doesn't have elite athleticism, at least as he ran at the combine which brings him down a notch from other WRs. I view Kromer as a straightforward guy who won't spin things. It was nice to hear him discuss the talent level of the offense and the improvement from last year to this year.
