Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. 1. Started by dawhizz,

Now that I've started to look at the draft more closely, I wanted to get some reaction to those who watched more college football than I did regarding a couple players who seem to fit what the Bears might want, but who I haven't heard mentioned much on this board: Max Unger, OL, Oregon - Started for four years, beginning at LT and finishing at center and can probably play every position on the line. Looking at his measurables and combine performance, I can't help but be reminded of Branden Albert last year, who played OG but everyone projected could play LT. Unger seems to offer the same ability, except you KNOW he can play OT. I keep seeing him go in the last first,…

  3. Started by ASHKUM BEAR,

We've now signed two guys that none of us had a clue the Bears were in contact with. We're getting smoke screens on St. Clair and Sharper and then we sign Omiyale and Bullocks. Since the Bears aren't targeting any big name players, the media has no clue who the Bears are targeting unless they a) start calling all the agents b.) the agent volunteers the news to the media, but doubtful with a lesser name player c) Bears volunteer the news, also doubtful unless a smokescreen or trying to lure another team to start a bidding war. I believe there used to be inside moles that would leak some info to the media previously, but with some harsh words printed the past few ye…

    Another WR off the board.

  6. The criteria for this topic, is based on Watersfootball.com current mock draft. The 10 players I would most like to be Bears based on who is there with our first 3 rounds with only three picks. Our extra pick from the lost player thing I will be figuring to be a 4th round pick. I think there is alot of smart football people on this blog and a few dreamers. So the smart ones let me know your list so we can compare. I dont necessarily believe this mock is accurate just a basis for this topic. Macklin/WR Maualuga/LB Ayers/DE Britton/OT Nicks/WR Robiskie/WR Loadholt/OT Bryd/S Sidbury/DE Follett/LB

http://www.virtualsportsnetwork.com/2009/0...-madden-nfl-10/ Some Madden 2010 details revolving around player movement & player momentum. The strides I am seeing definitely make 2010 look very good from what has been shown to us fans so far. Thoughts?

  8. Started by ASHKUM BEAR,

Today on ESPN1000, Silvy/Waddle were explaining part of the St. Clair situation. They said the Bears offered the 3 yr 4.5 million deal. St. Clair said he was looking for a deal close to 3yr 15 million. The Bears did not budge and said to hit the market to find your value. At Cleveland, they offered him a 3yr 9 million deal which nearly fell apart after the numbers were figured out. I'm thinking St. Clair was trying to get the Bears back involved but Cleveland said take it or leave it. I find that amusing, but can't hate a guy for trying. I'm also relieved Angelo didn't fold b/c I truly want to see the Bears dedicate the next year or two to totaly rebuild the…

  9. I think most would agree if thats what it takes then the Bears should do it.

According to the SunTimes there was an enormous interest in Cutler and you have to give credit to JA for pulling off what could be the biggest trade in decades......

Im thinking about buying some season tickets and was hoping someone might have sat in the sections i'm looking at. They are Section 248 and 446?. Anyone know if the views are good from those sections?

Here's an article I thought was interesting. I would imagine Nfl teams have something similar data but more specific in detail. http://www.scoresreport.com/2009/04/17/whi...he-first-round/

  14. I like the look of the cover, they went with Troy Polamalu & Larry Fitz in the first dual cover we've seen. Nice look to it and the splatter effect on the box looks pretty good. I am going to make my own custom one so the selection of the two doesn't bother me. Thoughts? Credit to AlterEgo of VSN on finding it http://www.virtualsportsnetwork.com/forum/...ead.php?t=17340

I would have loved Sean Smith at 49, but I like this trade as well. Michael Johnson or Duke Robinson at 68, and then go WR at 99 AND 105. Thoughts?

I think this is a clear indication of how badly the Bears' coaches have done. Actually, nevermind, it's only the tip of the iceberg. Bears coaches near bottom of league

from some who was there: 1 - Unbelievably cold and windy. I'm not sure how it looked on TV but the wind was really swirling. The weather was our best friend today as Favre looked like he wasn't interested in playing in this weather. 2 - Orton had a nice game. Would have looked better if Moose hadn't dropped a TD. 3 - Play of the game was the screen to Wolfe which led to the TD at the end of the half. This completely changed the momentum. 4 - Nice to see the o-line actually make some holes for the running game. Let's do that again next week. 5 - Dave Toub is my favorite coach on this team. He knows how to adjust and take advantage of his talent. Two …

http://www.chicagobears.com/news/FutureOpponents.html Home: Saints Bucs Jaguars Titans Packers Vikings Lions Away: Falcons Panthers Texans Colts Packers Vikings Lions With one game remaining and the playoffs out of reach, I figure it's a good time to start looking ahead to 2008. What come first? The draft. Next? Who we play, and that's listed above. I think that's a pretty easy schedule with the exception of Indy, Jacksonville, and possibly Tampa Bay. What do you guys think of it?

Rough season for the Bears from an injury standpoint. He will be the 13th player put on IR. I think they lost over 60 starts to injury this yr as compared to low 20s last yr. Obviously, injury was not the primary reason for the Bears downfall this yr (coaching, personnel moves, inept play) but it did play a part. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...earnt27.article Peace
