Maybe a little early for hype videos on these guys, but still cool nonetheless.

I went back and watched every game on a condensed version since my NFL pass is still into effect. A few observations: We easily could have won more games. Cohen sure does stick out with his limited play set. There were very few plays where Howard made players miss, most were big holes for him. ( he did run over many) Hicks and Mack are total beasts. R, Smith was very noticable and Floyd looked good at the end of the season. The MT- A. Robinson connec…

Awarded by the man himself...during the centennial...gents I get a feeling this year is gonna be special. Pretty damn cool. (Video link at bottom of story is good to watch). https://www.chicagobears.com/news/butkus-honored-to-give-award-to-khalil-mack

In homage to the 1936 team. Kinda think it’s cool. Not sure about the socks. https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/bears/ct-spt-bears-uniform-stripes-1936-replica-20190607-story.html

“We have a great relationship,” Trubisky said. “It all started last year, and it’s just going to keep growing better and better. It’s just that player-coach relationship, that constant communication and just me doing whatever he wants and envisions and translating that right to the field. "me doing whatever he wants". Can't see McMahon ever saying anything like that about Ditka. Different time but same place.

In case you were wondering ... 4 years $19 million. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001035810/article/niners-sign-robbie-gould-to-4year-19m-contract

Excellent work here by Robert Schmitz. Nichols surprised me. He quickly became what I thought Bullard would be for our Dline. If he improved his strength he'll be fun to watch this year. https://www.windycitygridiron.com/2019/7/19/20700833/chicago-bears-video-breaking-down-rookie-bilal-nichols-2018-season-akiem-hicks-eddie-goldman

Perhaps I’m in the dark on this but just read the below article this morning. Former Bear Trace Armstrong is Matt Nagy’s agent. How cool is that? https://www.chicagobears.com/news/armstrong-proud-of-nagy-former-team

One year and one day ago...

https://www.chicagobears.com/news/roster-moves-bears-sign-sowell-waive-whyte It'll be hard to miss Whyte. Not sure what the plan is with Sowell and now 5 TEs on the roster.

Both CAR and PHI lost, which puts both of them at 6-7. So the only teams ahead of the Bears for WC2 are the Rams and Vikings. The Rams are beating the Cardinals early and the Vikings play in Seattle on MNF. If Seattle can beat Minnesota tomorrow night, we would essentially be 1 game back with 3 to play (before our head to head....which is a must win). All we need to do is beat the Vikings in Week 17 and come into the game no more than 1 game back. If Seattle wins, this scenario is definitely possible.

As expected Roquan Smith was put on IR. Former Buc and former Sooner OLB Devonte Bond was signed to the team in his roster spot. Looks to be a speed rusher so maybe competition for Floyd during the offseason? With Smith out on IR, the defense has lost Trevathan, Amukamura and Hicks (to name key pieces) on the defensive side of the ball and their replacements; KPL, Tolliver and to some degree Nichols have all stepped up and played pretty darn well. That I think is a credit to Pagano and his ability to coach his side of the ball. And to be fair and not lost in all this is the sudden resurgence of the offense with credit thrown towards Nagy. On the of…

https://www.chicagobears.com/news/bears-fans-uncover-long-lost-footage-of-historic-game You never know what old houses have tucked away.

I know it’s not Bears football but I’m a fan of Fangios and my sister lives near so... At any rate, saw this video and noticed Vic has his own “boom” type of speech. Wonder if it was Nagy that taught him that or the other way around? And gotta love his opening line.

So we can finally start looking hard at the offseason. 1. February 24th - March 2nd - NFL Combine: we should have a good idea how the players will be slotted after the combine and some pro days. Mock drafts on fire. 2. March 16th - Legal tampering period: We will see a flurry of activity starting around this date as players start locking in deals with teams, will the Bears sign a QB? Is Mike Glennon available? 3. March 18th - The official first day of the league year and the official Start to Free Agency. All the official announcements start on the first wave of free agent signings; teams have to exercise options by 4pm. 4. March 29th - April 1st - Ann…

The NFL is giving us all free access to NFL game pass for last year. We can watch every game from last years glorious season again and again!!

Ok, getting some Safeties back in play. Also, our special teams is going to be a huge strength this year.

I saw this on online at NBC Chicago Sports. A Chicago restaurant had this posted for their patrons: Link to Article on www.nbcsports.com/chicago/bears/

Won't need this until training camp. https://www.chicagobears.com/news/bears-announce-numbers-draft-picks-will-wear
