Last Monday, the team had a zoom meeting in regards to the social injustice and police brutality ongoing issues in the country. Apparently, from reports and quotes from the players, they went into thinking it was not going to be productive, but it turns out that it really hit home for a lot of players. The team's bond strengthened and you could tell that some players genuinely felt like there was progress made. In general, that's great, and for a team that has to rely on each other on every play, that is also a great thing. Fit speed is Brandon Marshalls training facility...We all know Jeffery was going to be training with Marshall but I just wanted to point out that E-Rod and Armando Allen are also training there as well. (Didn't really know where to put this so why not a new thread?) It was noted that Marshall went from a 4.7 to a 4.4 40 in 8 weeks while training at Fit Speed. A boost in speed to all of those guys would be fantastic.

Which roster would you take, Bears or Pats? The Pats went 10-7 last year. Here is how our roster stacks up: CHI vs NE Offense QB - Fields vs Jones - I like Jones, but he was the guy that was the most NFL-ready but with the lowest ceiling. I think we will see that take shape over the next two years. I will take Fields here, just based on upside. Pats were 8-1 when they held opponents to 17 or less. They were 2-7 otherwise. So Jones didn't have to do much for 10 wins. Fields by a few. It's funny how much crap this guy takes because he is not Kelce or Kittle in their prime. Sure he is probably not a true top 5 TE, but he is constantly in the top 10 in most categories, yet it seems like people treat him like a dud. I expected a very physical Steelers team to show up tonight on both offense and defense, especially the defense. That's exactly what we got. We had the game in control until we hit their punter and that ended up giving them a TD a few plays later. Yet on the road where the momentum changed in the home team's favor the Bears responded on both defense and offense in the 4th quarter and that is what good teams do. It's not all perfect, we're still missing a pass rush and we gave up far too many big plays on D. The Oline must get better at run blocking. Our first draft pick in 2014 will likely be a DT. Depending on who drops it could be a CB but I think DT…

Did anyone else see that injury? You hate to see injuries at all, and that one did not look good at all. This is why Arob needs a new deal. Cohen down on a fair catch, other players dropping like flies and he is working on the last year of his deal with nothing guaranteed after this year. Also, do you think Dallas would be desperate enough to trade for Trubisky? He would actually fit in that offense and they have a solid running game and some playmakers in Cooper, Lamb, and Gallup. What do you think?
