Was scrolling and found the below. I don't think we'll be heavily investing in OL next year. Trapillo looks like he's ready to be the guy. Benedet can be the next man up at all five positions. If Kiran gets his act together, we're deep for the next two years...

In our last 4 games dating back to last year we are undefeated, 4-0. Are we getting spoiled? No turnovers for the Bears against Dallas was the key to victory.

I just got an email saying I have tickets for pre-season. It's for August 7th. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll see if I can transfer them. Says I can't forward them until the day before so I don't want to try and mess things up, but worth a chance if your interested. Electronic only and I live in Cali'. First come. But don't get your hopes up.

I believe the Legion of Boom was notorious for this, but did anyone watch the MNF game last night? Detroit's defense has seemed to adopt the Legion of Boom's tactics of holding and DPI on every play knowing the refs won't call them all. They basically conditioned the officials during the game to allow DPI later in the game, and it worked. There were at least 3 no-calls that were easy DPI calls that changed the outcome of the game. Carlton Davis (DET DB) is also allowed to yell in the face of officials, touch them multiple times, but Marsh (PIT game a few years ago) can get bumped by an official and he is called for a penalty? Super weird, but if the Bears have…

Poles could have easily protected him as he can protect 4 PS players. He chose not to. Despite my optimism this guy would turn into a good player for us, given what this staff has done with so many young players I have to trust their judgment. They saw quite a bit of him over the offseason so most likely he didn't fit within the culture of the HITS system. There is reason to believe that too because last year Graham said it was his fault he didn't make the 53 as he wasn't working hard enough. https://www.news5cleveland.com/sports/browns/cb-thomas-graham-jr-signed-to-the-cleveland-browns-from-the-chicago-bears Forgot to add that in his place the Bears signe…

Here are the Bears single season records on offense. Passing 370 Completions - Cutler 2014 561 Attempts - Cutler 2014 3838 Yards - Kramer 1995 29 TD - Kramer 1995 Rushing 381 Attempts - Payton 1984 1852 Yards - Payton 1977 14 TD - Sayers 1965, Payton 1977, Payton 1979 Receiving 118 Receptions - Marshall 2012 1508 Yards - Marshall 2012 13 TD - Kavanaugh 1947, Gordon 1970 It feels like with the RBBC, the rushing records won't be touched for quite some time. All the passing ones seem to be in play every year and for receiving, Moore has a shot at 118 receptions, but it would be a long shot. Thoughts?

  10. it's a new era in the nfl. gambling cartels in all probablility decide who wins games and who loses or at least the spread on points and probably about a hundred different things that can be bet upon. it's not even close anymore. the refs can choose to shave points or decide who wins or loses on selective penalties and calls during multiple games every week. they control the clock and the flow of each and every game which in turn controls the scores or other gambling points. is there any investigation into these allegations? certainly not. too much money is involved. the nfl itself is either complicit with this or just plain stupid, the same is for the owners. t…

2012 home opponents: Seattle, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Houston, Minnesota, Green Bay, Detroit (if my calculations are correct, their last home opponent will be from the NFC South [example: if the Bears finish 2nd in the North, they'll play whoever finishes 2nd in the South at home]) 2012 road opponents: Tennessee, Jacksonville, San Francisco, Arizona, Minnesota, Green Bay, Detroit (their last road opponent will be from the NFC East) All of this is from Brad Biggs' column today, except the stuff that's in parentheses.

The Saints playoff game could very well be his last as a Chicago Bear. If he's a good QB, an NFL QB, wouldn't he want to truly display that for a future employer? Wouldn't he want to have a small piece of film to use to say, "The Chicago scheme severely limited me," and prove his actual abilities? If I'm Trubisky, this is the time to open it up. I'm going for a new contract with a different team, because the time in Chicago is almost certainly over. I'm trying to make a highlight reel to impress GMs who think that not only is Chicago where WRs go to die, but it's also where QBs go to die. If I'm him, on nearly every 50/50 opportunity, I'm throwing it up to give …

Seems like NT Mike Pennel has signed a one year deal. Given that Goldman was a no show, this is probably insurance and depth. But it definitely says that the Bears weren't thrilled with Goldman's absence, and need options. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/06/17/bears-agree-to-terms-with-mike-pennel-on-a-one-year-deal/

Since this is a slow time, draft sites, I respect are GBND,Countdown.com, and because of content Walters and Drafttex. A new one I found was NFL Mocks and interesting thing about that website is it projects where FAgents go. They have us resigning Campbell(which I dont see happening because of cost) I think the possibility exists due to OC ties we grab Chase Daniel/QB They have us signing Dutin Keller/TE (which I wont be objective to, is the better TEs become to expensive) They have us signing Gordon Cherilius/OT (which I dont see happening because he plays RT) my choices would be Beatty, Albert, Bushrod in that order) They havent released Defe…

Starting strong-side linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa went down in the first quarter Sunday with a sprained posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and is day-to-day, according to an NFL source. There is a chance Tinoisamoa could play against the Steelers, but his status remains unclear. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,7971480.story

http://www.theredzone.org/BlogDescription/...ey/Default.aspx Bills bid goodbye to TO, Reed, Denney Feb 27 2/27/2010 6:39:52 PM | More Mark Gaughan of the Buffalo News reports the Bills announced tonight they will not offer contracts to soon-to-be free-agents Terrell Owens, Josh Reed and Ryan Denney. The announcement does not come as a surprise. Owens, at age 36, does not fit into the Bills' overhaul plans and would not have wanted to return to Buffalo anyway. Reed and Denney both are eight-year veterans of the Bills who served in backup roles. All three will become free agents on March 5.
