Well, everyone it was a good day for the bears! Tampa, Philly, Minnesota, and Dallas all lost this week. What does this mean? Here's what we need to make it to the playoffs: Obviously we need to win out, so combined with that this is what needs to happen. Dallas must lose AT Philly next week and Tampa must lose at home against the Raiders. If this happens combined with a win tomorrow night and next sunday we're in as the 6th seed. However, why go for a 6th seed when the queens are going to choke away the division? So the way for us to be the 4th seed is for minnesotta to lose at home against he Giants. I thought they needed another QB prospect to groom but it appears they like Blanchard a lot so that derailed the pickup. I think they need another DT and that still could happen. With training camp approaching there will still be some cuts. I think the possibility exists Idonije still comes our way. I think most of the roster is set with a few fringe players to be added and subtracted. I think the possibility still exists that Hester and Weems could be gone. They only do one thing and with a tight budget, ,may not be enough. I think our WRs are on the roster, with the first 3 set and the 4th and 5th will be filled by our prospects. Who will be cut? IMHO, we need to be spreading it out more. 2 TE sets or our power formations do little to advance the ball. We can't run from our power sets, and frankly, we take away weapons while doing little to improve the blocking. All these power sets do, IMHO, is make defenses more aggressively attack. What I would really like to see is more spread formations. Use more 3 and even 4 WR sets. I want to see DA used more often. I also want to move Olsen around more, like we did last year. I just have not seen us moving him around this year like we did last year. Start him at TE, but then split him outside. Have a set where you have Olsen and Hester on the outside, while r…

I did some snooping around to see if the NFL is going to get off the ass and suspend the two DTs for Minny and found nothing other than they went to talk to the commish and a ruling was to be made. I guess the DE was cleared, only received a fine and will not be suspended for the late hits. Does anyone know if they when this is suppose to be decided? They were talking during the game that Deuce M might be suspended before this coming week 13 games. This leads me to believe there is still hope we will face Minny without the Williams duo, which would certainly make life easier for us.

I admit since I have Sunday Ticket, I overuse my DVR and have recorded not only all the games but this last week's NFL Networks episode of the Green Bay game. All told I've probably watched each game a minimum of three times. Anyhow my point in question format is, what is the deal with Todd Collins? Looking at the Chicago Bears website he is listed as the #2 behind Cutler. Yet what bothers me is that each time you see Cutler on the sidelines in between Offense possession he is sitting with Hanie going over stills and talking strategy. So, what is wrong with our Bears? Is this game a one-off F£££ up, or an indication of deeper problems? Will Lovie and company ever be able to deliver another Super Bowl? Is there any reason to keep watching this year....lol.?

We've spent a lot of time on mock drafts that we like, disagree with, like partially, etc., but has anyone put together a bizarro draft? Put together the worst draft you can imagine. Think of the players you hate, the ones that have question marks, the guys that don't fit the Bears' schemes. Slot them appropriately and then draft. For instance, my nightmare draft starts off like this: 1) Stephen Hill, WR, GT - The guy is raw, unproven, has very minimal tape or stats, played in a JV offensive system in college, and is a combine warrior who has flown up draft charts. This is a slow time where, I sometimes feel dead and bloated, so might as well throw some comments out there to stir the pot. We all have our opinions about all that has been done by the Bears this offseason. New coaches and GM--most people are in agreement that we have upgraded the decision makers to run our team. Pace is suppose to be an young and ascending personal manager of which I like what he has done so far, but truth be told, we will know more of his talents 3 years from now. Fox, Fangio, Gase, ect. --the coaches we can see past history of being successful at their jobs and I think Fangio in the #1 defensive coordinator in the league . It will show…

We have added to some areas where our team will be improved. WRs,RBs, special teams, and backups. What of our weaknesses are most important to be a lot better to show great improvement with our record. DBs, DL, and OL. I think for us to be a solid team we need the OL to take a giant step forward. Without the OL we wont be able to take advantage of the weapons we added.

After all of us posting mocks, debating FA pickups and FA departures going forward my focus will be on how the current roster takes to this regime and how many of the veterans of the previous regime will survive this TC. I usually take a vacation and visit 1 day. I'm thinking about making a couple of days out of it when I go. What are any of the rest of you expecting to see.

3 games back in the Division and probably the WC after this week, with 8 to play. We would need a miracle to make the playoffs and this team has shown zero consistency to say they can sustain a run. The crazy part is we have now lost to a 6-2 team (NE), 5-3 team (BUF), 4-3 team (MIA), 5-2 team (GB), and 3-4-1 team (CAR). All actually turned out to be pretty good teams, and our Strength of Schedule is much harder than it originally looked. I would say the only possible way back would be to go 4-1 in remaining Division games (split DET, sweep MIN, beat GB), then beat NO and TB, and lose to DAL, which would be amazing and still only give us a 9-7 records (and …
