Specifically, I'm having the pipe dream of Marvin Harrison and Torry Holt. What if the Bears signed them both? That makes the WRs: Harrison, Holt, Hester, Bennett, and whoever else That thought makes Jason happy.

Suppose the Bears were one of the healthiest teams in the league instead of one of the most injured? What scenarios would have played out? What would the record be? The first thing I think of is Kevin White. If he didn't get injured again, would he have blossomed into a star WR this year? Would his ascendancy have led to Glennon performing better and keeping the job?

Here is a prediction from Yahoo sports for Forte this year. If he lived up to this projection, would it fall short of you expectations, exceed your expectations, or is this what you were expecting? I am just curious what everyone is thinking Forte will offer the Bears in 2008.

Since the best draft teams take the BPA regardless of position. What if? one of the 3 OTs fall to us-Robinson-Mathews-Lewan (getting a top 10 LT that would move Bushrod to the right side, cant be all bad for a improving OL) What if? Barr or Mack drop to us- they are both 3-4 OLBers.( consistent top10 players that can rush the QB but are strictly 3-4 backers) What if? Watkins or Evans drops to us( these are elite type WRs and not sure we could pass them up) I would not like to consider any of those possibilities, but one of those situations could come up. I would think someone would be willing to give us lots of draft picks to grab one of those to…

I had a scary thought today... Green Bay GB is decimated with injuries, currently 3-2, and has the following left: MIA, MIN, NYJ, DAL, MIN, ATL, SF, DET, NE, NYG, CHI That's 8 tough games left, without even counting a dangerous Dallas team, an improving Detroit team, and an underperforming SF team. GB could feasibly finish with 4 or 5 more losses, easily, and finish just on the outside of a wild card birth. Minnesota Sitting at 1-3 with the following left: DAL, GB, NE, ARI, CHI, GB, WAS, NYG, CHI, PHI, DET That's 8 tough games for them as well. And since Fartve isn't having a miracle year like last year, they will probably do worse than GB. …

What if the top three OT (Martin, Reiff, Kalil) and the top three WR (Blackmon, Floyd, Jeffery) are off the board when the Bears pick? Aside from being irritated that the Bears needlessly won the last game of the season and ruined their draft pick status, what are you thinking? BPA vs. need becomes a much more interesting question at that point. If this scenario happens, and we're all relatively upset, that could indicate that LBs are getting passed over and a few other nice prospects are falling. Vontaze Bufict, LB, Arizona State Luke Kuechly, ILB, Boston College Dont’a Hightower, ILB, Alabama Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama Whitney Mercilus, DE, Illi…

What if the Bears had just gone with the Everyone Agrees Mock, or players similar when we missed on slotting? 2017 EVERYONE AGREES MOCK - VER 3.2 (Post-FA) 1. Jamal Adams, FS, LSU - He'd definitely be starting. 2. DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame - He'd be sitting behind Glennon, and it wouldn't feel as bad. 3. Cooper Kupp, WR, E. Wash - Several wanted a big WR. Here he is. 4. Tarik Cohen, RB, NCA&T - I think we're all happy with this one. 4. Jordan Leggett, TE, Clemson - Offensive weapon in deep draft. 5. Will Holden or Roderick Johnson, OT - Bring someone, anyone in to compete 7. Zane Gonzalez, K, AZ State - No need to bring Aguayo in. Zane is curren…

WTF is the front office thinking? We traded Orton, and 2 First round picks for Cutler. When this trade was made, it was blatantly obvious that Cutler would be our QB of the future. We have Martz and his complicated offense and the father of the Greatest Show on Turf. With that being said, why the hell wouldn't the front office give Cutler and this offense the tools needed to succeed in this league? Why would you continue for 3 years running with a below NFL average receiving core and a below average PeeWee football offensive line? And I say below PeeWee because you can tell an 8 year old to get in the way of the kid wearing a different colored jeresy and, after eati…

Was watching the Giant's vs Cheatriots and the potential go ahead TD for the Giants stood out to me. Beckham has possession, with 2 feet in the end zone, then the ball is ripped out by the DB it's ruled no catch.... That brought me back to the Lions game where Golden Tate barely had possession for even a split second before it's ripped out and intercepted. Yet Tate is awarded a TD, Beckham is awarded and incomplete pass. Can someone explain why Tate's was and Bechkham's wasn't. To me if Beckham's wasn't neither should Tates. I know the rules get muddier and muddier with each "judgement" call. But that play last night reinforces that we got screwed.

Suppose the discussion behind closed doors is contentious. Alshon is upset for one reason or another and he wants to move to NY to be with the rest of the former Bears (JK). Seriously though, what's he worth? Typically, franchise tag = two 1st rounders. I know the Bears are not in a position to rely on the WRs outside of Alshon, but suppose someone offered that deal? Or more? I guess what I'm asking is, what's the max value the Bears could conceivably get for Alshon? Is there a team that: A-Has enough future cap to take the salary hit, B-Is close enough to contending that AJ would be their conceivable difference-maker, C-Is deficient at the WR …

Another cool site with a decent article on QB valuation: http://overthecap.com/value-pricing-the-nfl-qb/ They said Cutler under-performed and is worth between $8-$9 million a year. To me that seems about right.

Now I wont say we are a bad team but I want to point out this. We can NOT win games kicking field goal!!!!!! Once again we had too many opportunities in the red zone just to come away with just three points. Despite the other teams score....if we cashed in on our chances in the red zone I feel this 0-2 start we are now in would be 2-0. Now the other problem I see is that our DB are not being coached to win. We have gotten way to many pass interference calls to succeed. Ball and Fuller need to be taught how to turn and look for the ball. Against the Packers they could have had two ints and the same against the Cards. Against the Cards...Fitz just used Fuller like toilet pa…

Easy question. What is Mack worth in trade? Some of y'all follow that type of stuff a lot more than I do. You're more keen on the salary cap implications. The reason I ask is two-fold: Denver's defense wasn't good in 2020 Fangio is their coach What could the Bears get from them?

Well, everyone it was a good day for the bears! Tampa, Philly, Minnesota, and Dallas all lost this week. What does this mean? Here's what we need to make it to the playoffs: Obviously we need to win out, so combined with that this is what needs to happen. Dallas must lose AT Philly next week and Tampa must lose at home against the Raiders. If this happens combined with a win tomorrow night and next sunday we're in as the 6th seed. However, why go for a 6th seed when the queens are going to choke away the division? So the way for us to be the 4th seed is for minnesotta to lose at home against he Giants. So everyone watch sunday night football and root for the …

I thought they needed another QB prospect to groom but it appears they like Blanchard a lot so that derailed the pickup. I think they need another DT and that still could happen. With training camp approaching there will still be some cuts. I think the possibility exists Idonije still comes our way. I think most of the roster is set with a few fringe players to be added and subtracted. I think the possibility still exists that Hester and Weems could be gone. They only do one thing and with a tight budget, ,may not be enough. I think our WRs are on the roster, with the first 3 set and the 4th and 5th will be filled by our prospects. Who will be cut? Obvious…

IMHO, we need to be spreading it out more. 2 TE sets or our power formations do little to advance the ball. We can't run from our power sets, and frankly, we take away weapons while doing little to improve the blocking. All these power sets do, IMHO, is make defenses more aggressively attack. What I would really like to see is more spread formations. Use more 3 and even 4 WR sets. I want to see DA used more often. I also want to move Olsen around more, like we did last year. I just have not seen us moving him around this year like we did last year. Start him at TE, but then split him outside. Have a set where you have Olsen and Hester on the outside, while r…

Poles has did a good job of upgrading the roster but what is the biggest question that needs to be answered going into training camp. BFX asked the question that spurred this poll.
