I have no Idea what else DA can do to prove that he should be on the field from the first snap of the game to the end. He and Knox clearly are the Bears best 2 WRs and both should be starting. After seeing Hanie get clobbered on more than one play I can truly say that the one truth about Martz's offense is the QBs get hit a lot and with that being said I am worried about not only Hanie's injury but also if Cutler gets hurt because it was obvious last night that Hanie and LaFevour don't have a firm grasp of this offense and looked shaky at times.

Yesterday was a fun win unlike last week! It looked dismal at the start and I thought it'd be a long day ending with Cutler leaving on a stretcher. Then, Martz the Mad Scientist, went to work and adjusted immediately! A real OC! Then we rode it all the way to victory! A few observations... 1. Cutler looks like the franchise guy we all wanted. Honestly, the game against the Giants was the worst performance by an OL in perhaps the history of the NFL. Let that sink in. The HISTORY of the NFL. If the Bears do not draft OL multiple times in the first four rounds, then it's the most incompetent front office in the NFL.

I know these can be taken with a grain of salt, but there are some good stats in there beyond the grades. Some of the grades actually pass the eye test. I find it interesting that the top 3 offensive players in PFF for the Bears are on the OL, Wright, Jones, and Jenkins, and all the OL are higher than Williams, Kmet, Odunze, Allen, and Swift. The only offensive skill players higher than Shelton and Pryor are Moore and Roschon. The good thing is the worst starter, (according to PFF), is Swift at a 62.0, which means every starter is above average (60.0). Who is your sleeper pick at #10? Who is no one talking about, but could be a selection at #10? I am going to say Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss. He is ranked between 13-32 in pretty much every mock but to me, seems a little underrated. Why Nolen? He is the most physically gifted DT, had high production, and graded out as one of the best DTs in 2024. He also fits Dennis Allen's scheme and is an ideal size for a 3T. He could also be a trade-down option if the Bears stay in the teens. What are your thoughts?

This is excellent news. We really are going to be a team for several years. Edwards has been playing very well. I wonder how long Edmunds will stick around, we are paying him a fortune. He's got all the measurables, but his production has been lacking. Maybe the new scheme and coaches will unlock him, otherwise, his days could be numbered - probably after this year. It gets very cheap to cut him next year.

Poles has no clue wtf he is doing. You trade out of the 2nd and then draft your TE3 with an early 3rd rounder?

Not that I think he's any good, but it is still miidly surprising. This coupled with the facts that 1. Leno sucks and 2. they just added a guy who is probably better suited at OG leads me to believe Kyle Long will be the starting RT this year.

Considering that Slasson hasn't played center much in his career he did a nice job on short notice with one bad snap and one bad exchange. Charles Leno Jr wasn't a train wreck at left tackle and Omameh wasn't awful either. Kyle Long and Ducasse seem to be settling in on the right side. Going forward I hope our 3rd round draft pick is ready to start his career since Montgomery has a broken bone in his leg( tibia?) which is an extended period injury and may signal the start of the Grasu era, if not Slausson seemed okay and I like the thought of a center with size in the middle. He also seemed good at making the line adjustments and there wasn't the wholesale blitzers runn…
