At the beginning of the second round, the Bears told Ohio safety Michael Mitchell to stay by his phone because they planned to draft him at No. 49. Great win. Saw some good things tonight from several players and many things we must improve upon. SMC...great game.. Make the hustle plays that's where you fit in. Peppers...finally influenced the game throughout. We needed that tonight. Rookie LBs...lot's to learn here....stay in your gap. I still think the future is bright for these guys but the learning curve will be painful. DTs....we really need Ratliff to shore this up. On offense everyone stepped up but game ball goes to McCown. He was really poised throughout the game. My other game ball goes to Marc Trestman. He had a game plan that worked very well.

Again it seems the big story from national publications is that the roughing call against Suh is what won the game for the bears. Like if Suh doesn't commit that penalty then the bears offense was helpless.

Naturally I missed the game. Looks like our young LBs played well, as did the Dline. Jay throwing for 381yds didn't hurt either.

Somehow, someway this team is 4-1. I will take it. Now the team gets a mini-bye before heading to CAR.

Last night on MNF they showed a stat on teams with the highest winning % since 2005. The Giants and the Bears were basically tied at the top of that list!! the Bears had one more loss than the Giants but the same amount of wins. What the Bears did not have is a damn Super bowl win! take that for what it is worth I guess but Lovie and this crew have been getting the Bears winning seasons.

Not expected to sign him, at least not yet. Expected to wait on making a move on wideouts until after the first preseason game on Friday. If Holmes was healthy, I would be on board with the move.
