I think that the Bears might use the combination of their own 2nd in 2020 and Howard to trade into the middle of the 2nd this year. It wouldn't surprise me in the least, as it fits Pace's MO.

I think that TJ Yeldon would be a nice flyer for a RB, similar to Thomas Jones way back when. To me, it would seem he fits Nagy's offense like a glove. It makes way too much sense, and he shouldn't be that expensive.

With Bowles and Pettine already hired, where do the Bears go for a DC if Fangio gets the Denver job? I was thinking about their personnel and there is no way in hell they could go back to a 4-3 if they had to, as their front 7 is very clearly 3-4 personnel.

Both Wims and Miller have looked great. I still think that White is gone after this year unless he signs a sweetheart deal, and if Allen Robinson is the receiver we think he can be, White will be no big loss, as long as Wims makes the roster. Wims reminds me a lot of Alshon Jeffery, when Alshon is on the field.

They better not cut Javon Wims, If they do I think he's going to go elsewhere and burn them. I know it is preseason, but dude looks like a player.

As long as Pace and Mack are in the same ballpark on a new contract, I have zero problem with the Bears trading next year's 1 and 3 for Mack. Even though that means that the Bears won't have a pick until the 4th, Miller looks like the real deal and we know what Mack is.

Kevin White, if he does well this season or not, will be elsewhere next year. Honestly, I don't think they're going to keep him on the team. I'd imagine he'll be one of the final cuts. They have too much money invested in the WR position to sign him if he has a decent season. It is better to just move White along now than risk having him put up a big year and having to let him walk. The amount of criticism Pace would get would be insane. I hate saying this, but I believe this to be true. Nobody would complain if you cut him now. If he goes elsewhere and takes off, so be it. It is better for him to have that first success elsewhere than here. It sucks they lost a 7OA, but it is what it is. The dude was made of glass.

Floyd had surgery on 2 broken fingers. Status is up in the air for week 1. Great. He was the player they could least afford to lose outside of Trubisky.
