Turner gone, Marinelli Won't be DC
No I don't. I am simply noting that hiring Cowher is not a guarentee for anything and a very real possibility exists that 5 yrs down the road (after his hiring), fans would be calling for him to be fired. For the most part, this is what happens in the NFL. Very rarely do coaches retire. They are normally fired. This is not to say I would mind hiring Cowher. I am simply trying to being a realist. Peace

Turner gone, Marinelli Won't be DC
Let me preface my statement by saying I was hoping for a house cleaning. That being said, what guarentee do we have that, if Cowher is hired next yr, we would be a better football team or win a Superbowl? We have none. No Superbowl winning coach has gone to another team and won a Superbowl. Look at he disaster that Parcells was in Dallas. My point, don't hang your hat on hiring Cowher as the end all, cure all. Peace

Boras is gone
I haven't been impressed with Boras. He inherited Clark. What has he done to develop Olsen? We were looking for huge improvement from him this year and he has been a disappointment. Davis looked ok earlier this year but then disappeared. I have no issues with this move. Peace

Shaw tore it up yesterday
Check the bottom of this article. Shaw had a great game and Toub was amazed. Double Z said on the SCORE earlier today that Shaw scored 41 points based on Toub's system which broke the previous record (32 by Brendon A). http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,7169006.story Peace

Cutler Trade Year 1 Review
Orton is not a top 15 NFL QB. He is a game manager and that is all. He will be in the league for another 10 years if he wants. There are alot worse QBs right now. Peace

Bears @ Lions 1-3-2010 Noon CT
Agreed 100%. Fix the o-line and the d-line and sprinkle in some new DBs. That is all. Peace

Hey guys
- Hester handling all return duties
He had one nice return but that was it. I think it was B or C. Peace- What about running back?
I agree with Jim Schwantz. Go get a big pounding runningback. Peace- Bears @ Lions 1-3-2010 Noon CT
DO NOT waste a pick on WR this yr. Cutler loves DA. He is his #1. Develop what we have on the roster. Draft o-line, d-line, and safety. Peace- My highlight tape - First Year at JuCo
Keep working hard. Good luck. Peace- Bears @ Lions 1-3-2010 Noon CT
The logic is that DH was the starter before. Do I agree with it - no. Peace- Manning wants to stay a Bear
This is what Hester should have seen in a contract. Peace- Manning wants to stay a Bear
Makes me wonder how good he could have been if we had left him at safety. Further, it is yet another reason this staff should go. Peace- Manning wants to stay a Bear

- Piso wants to come back
Thoughts?? http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,4482017.story Peace- Sounds like Davis will be KR Sunday
Both Know and Manning are not expected to play either. Bright side, Iglesias should finally be active. Also, with Izzy out, maybe Big Toe can get some reps. Peace - Hester handling all return duties
