At the end of the game Monday night, I was on the computer when Favre threw the TD to Rice. I walked into the living room and told my wife that I expected the Bears to lose and was at least happy they put up a great game. Further, I said that was a hell of a pass by Favre. My wife said, and I will paraphrase "I don't want to hear it. I want them to lose because of him". Got to love it!!! FYI - I hate Favre as well but respect him as a player. Peace

They are very depleted at not only corner but special teams. My guess is Tuerne (sp) is actually active for the game. My understanding is that Basanez is a reward for all the hard work he has put in. I believe he will now get credit for 1 year to his NFL pension. I think you need to be on a roster for 1 game to get credit for the year and that after 4 years you qualify. Don't quote me, however. This game is a complete indictment of the coaching staff IMHO. Williams should have been playing LT when it was clear Pace had nothing left. Shaffer looked good as well. DA should have been on the field when Cutler asked for him. Steltz actually looked like he knew what he was doing at strong safety. All these personnel decisions are owned by the coaching staff.
