  2. If they fire Lovie and do not go with a big name coach, I am fine with Heimerdinger. Bottom line, which is pointed out in the article, is getting a coach in here that can work with Cutler. Cutler is the franchise and we have to do whatever is necessary to help him play better. Peace
  3. Thoughts? Peace http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...-122509.article
  4. I have listened to the SCORE since it started. Back then Bernstein did the news and filled in for vacations, etc... He was always one of my favorites on the station. Since he has been with Boers, however, he has become a drill rod and I can hardly stand him. I cannot believe the way B&B treat their listeners. I will listen in to Bears talk and that's about it. I am done, however, with Bernstein. Peace
  5. Have a safe and happy holiday season everyone!!!! Merry X-Mas!!! Connorbear Peace
  6. It was someone else using his name. Bernstein hates the concept and called everyone donating idiots. I just checked and amount is almost to 5k. Peace
  7. Agreed. His 2.5 million dollar roster bonus is not do to June 1st. Plenty of time to figure out who will be coaching him before making a decision. Peace
  8. Agreed. He will be 33 by the beginning of next year. Time to get younger on the line. Peacee
  9. Agreed 100%. Nice for Olin to step up but he is a fool if he believes Lovie is not a big part of the problem. Peace
  10. And Tommie is giving roster advice - oh goodie!!!!! http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,2581471.story Peace
  11. Pix - sorry to hear. I lost my job last January so I know the feeling. Best of luck for you in the future. Peace
  12. Yeah and they can go screw. I used to respect Bernstein until he started acting like a tool. I am done with them. Peace
  13. The websity now has a link to an article on NBC5 and an interview Waddle and Silverman had with Uncle Meatball. They are moving forward with the billboard that should be up on Wednesday. Peace
  14. Great. Yes I put in yesterday. Peace
  15. Alright Jason. C'mon guys we can do more. Peace
  16. Way to go ChiTown. Yes, he did a very nice job. Come on guys. I know we can do better as a site!!!!!! Peace
  17. I just put in $15. Let's see who else steps up. Peace
  18. If you are demanding change, here you go. I will be making a donation. http://www.bearfansunited.org/ Peace
  19. Interesting info about our newest OT in this article (about half way). http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...,4720040.column Peace
  20. Finally made it through the weather. Interesting note at the end of the article - Pace not expected to dress. Who is the swing tackle then - the kid from BC they just promoted from the practice squad? http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,7758820.story Peace
  21. Well, I didn't expect him to be gone. I was just hoping. My questions: What kind of scrub do they think they will get to replace Turner who we all know will be the sacrificial lamb? Will they make him hire a defensive coordinator? Who is going to want the job with the head coach on such a short leash? Further, if Lovie ends up getting firect after next yr and a new head coach comes in with a new staff, how does that benefit Jay (3 offensive coordinators in 3 years)? Peace
  22. Iglesias would essentially replace Davis on the game day roster. We already have a very young group of WRs getting reps. No need to force him in. Davis is a very good gunner and one of the few constants that Toub can count on. Gilbert should definately get reps. Up until last week I would have had him replace Adams, but Adams has played very, very well as of late. Do you inactivate "The Prince" since he will most likely be gone anyway? Moore is a no brainer. Vasher is hardly playing anymore. He should be inactive the rest of the season or even just out right cut. Peace
  23. Thanks for posting. You have to appreciate Pace's professionalism given the situation. Peace
  24. I'm sure they did tell him about it but they didn't broadcast it to the world. They tried to minimize and treat a 10+ year future hall of fame vet with some respect. Again, I have no issues with that. I have no issues with Ozzie telling a player to his face in private that they suck. It's when he gets in front of a microphone and does it I have an issue. I managed for 10 yrs early in my career and the one thing I learned is you praise in public and criticize in private. You don't earn the respect of your employees by beating them up in front of others. Peace
