  1. Got it. I agree on the whiny old man part, but disagree that they made him. No matter how much it annoys me to admit it, Favre would have been a hall of famer on any team. Peace
  2. Hey Mad - who is the whining bitter old man you speak of? Peace
  3. Agreed. Plax is the only one I would even consider and I do not want him. At this point, I want to see what Cutler can do with our young receivers. Peace
  4. Kyle was always a stand up guy here. I wish him the best of luck. Peace
  5. Couldn't agree more. Lovie deserves more respect than he is given but he also needs to perform much better. After this offseason, the ball is clearly in his court. Peace
  6. I saw this a while back. Appears to be extremely athletic. Let's hope it transfers to the field. Peace
  7. Exactly. The ball is in Lovie's court now. Peace
  8. http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2009/06/wr...aking_most.html Peace
  9. Count me in. Thanks to Drunkbomber for running it this yr and thanks to Pix for running it in the past. Peace
  10. Url was actually very good at signing autographs his rookie yr. At Platteville, he signed autographs and was very outgoing. I would assume the negative press over time has jaded him a bit. However, alot of that negative press is his own fault. Peace
  11. Exactly. It hasn't been worn since 1 or 2 yrs after Singletary retired. I can't remember who wore it but the point is they need to formally retire it anyway. Peace
  12. JA batting .1000 this offseason. The only way it could get better would be to somehow get Boldin but I doubt that will happen. Peace
  13. I love that they always work to get this stuff done early. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=5853 Peace
  14. Great to hear. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=5852 Peace
  15. Wendell blew out both of his knees on that horrible carpet in Philly. I hope he received a settlement from the league for that. They should have never allowed Philly to keep the field that way. Peace
  16. I know Morris was the best but I never got to see him play. Peace
  17. 1 - Bobby Engram (best possession receiver that I have seen play for the Bears - should never have been cut) 2 - Marty Booker (a possession receiver who was also a home run threat) 3 - Tom Waddle (all heart) 4 - Marcus Robinson (great guy - injuries dampered his career here) Peace
  18. I like this. Unfortunately, I see Hilly as the odd man out if this occurs. Peace
  19. Corey Graham is going to shine at FS. Peace
  20. http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2009/05/be...for_left_g.html Peace
  21. I think we all need to remember that last yr was Steltz's rookie yr. I am not saying he will be a starter FS in the future but he will most likely improve. Peace

    Poor Rex

Don't blame Rex for that - blame management. Peace
  23. Hey, I don't mind if they are sinners as well but if they are a locker room cancer (see TO) then I want nothing to do with them. My main issue with "Plexiglass" is there is still much to be resolved before he can be signed by anyone. Further, I am very interested to see how well the younger talent at WR steps up and, at this point in time, I am willing to go with what we got. Peace
  24. Ok, let's say the Bears are interested. Do you think he will serve any prison time? Do you think the league will suspend him? IMHO, he may somehow skate on prison time with a suspended sentence and heavy fines, however, he will face a minimum 4 game suspension. Personally, the guy should get the same penalty (prison time) any average Joe on the street will get but I doubt that will happen. Peace
  25. Great recap Pix - thanks. I went onto the field at Soldier before the renovation. Will need to go next yr so I can get the same opportunity. Peace
