  1. You see this is a cheap, I see this as a great deal. If he doesn't work out, they cut him and it only costs 525k. Mike Brown cannot play FS anymore (he has lost a step). Further, he does not have the durability to play SS either. Once he was switched to SS, he was unable to finish 3 games and then went on IR. Mike Brown is one of my favorite all time Bears but it is clear to me he is done. Peace
  2. Remember though, they cannot trade comp picks. They would have to trade our original picks to move up. Peace
  3. Ding, Ding, Ding!!!!! We have a winner. He was gone sooner or later. I'm glad its now. Peace
  4. Mongo - accidentally deleted your response above. I thought it was a duplicate. My apologies. Peace

I've only sold my tickets on the open market one time and that was when they moved the New Year's Eve game against the Packers from a noon to 7 pm start with the flex scheduling crap (I had plans and could not go and it was too late to find someone). Otherwise, I either trade them with the season ticket holder next to me or sell them to my friends at face value (if I cannot go). I agree, those fans that sell their tickets for profit on a regular basis are arseholes. Peace
  6. I would be willing to give up a 4th for him. I am assuming we will get a 3rd round comp pick for Berrian so we will really won't be losing a pick. Peace

Thanks for sharing. Best of luck. Please let us know where you end up. Peace
  8. If we sign St. Clair, I am fairly sure we will not sign another o-lineman. Peace
  9. Best of luck with that Dick Jauron. Peace
  10. Jones is being paid 2 million this next yr to be our #2. They will not draft a RB IMHO. Peace
  11. So Vaughn McClure says the Bears have identified St. Clair as their top priority. I am curious if he is talking out his arse or if he can actually quote someone on the Bears who said this publicly. I don't remember hearing this at all. I would assume if he was their top priority he would have been signed before FA started. Peace

Owens, who was a great player at one time, is at the downward edge of his career. If this was his only issue I would be ok getting him. However, he is the definition of locker room cancer. I don't need boyscouts on my team but this guy is clearly the other end of the spectrum. I simply can't think of another player that is worse than him in this case. Peace
  13. I love this signing. Last yr when he was being inactivated he went to Lovie and asked if he could play on special teams. I remember he ended up with at least 5 to 10 tackles. This shows he wants to be on the field. If he is healthy, he can help take the load off of Forte. Peace
  14. Assuming that Omiyale is going to play guard, even if we sign St. Clair we still need another tackle (unless you coung practice squad Cody Balogh). In this situation, I still see Angelo drafting OT in the first 3 rounds. Peace
  15. I think St Clair will sign back with us and Jerry will be done with the o-line until the draft. Peace
  16. Let's say we do not get another WR in FA or via the draft. I show the following on the roster: - Hester - Davis - Bennett - Aromashodu (waived by Indy - did not play for us) - Rideau - Burgess (practice squad) I would assume then the top 5 would make the team with Hester, Davis, and Bennett as the top 3. If this is the case then why not play Olsen more at WR (he played around 15% of his plays there this last yr with Kellen Davis and Clark at TE). We had some success with Olsen at WR last yr and I would love to see Kellen Davis get some time on the field - he looked very good in the preseason. Formation could be 2 WR (Hester and Olsen), 2 TE (Davis and Clark), and 1 RB. Or go empty backfield and add another WR or split out RB. Believe me, this is not the situation I want. I was just thinking about how to maximize our passing game as is. Thoughts? Peace

  18. No problem - thanks. Peace
  19. You spelled it with an 'e' instead of an 'o'. Kind of a personal thing - not attacking. That's why I asked nicely. Thanks. Peace

I'll give Moss credit - he has straightened his act out. I would say he finally hooked up with a coach and a qb that would not put up with his crap. Why the heck do you think TO would do the same thing after playing with Garcia in SF, McNabb in Philly, and Romo in Dallas? You honestly think playing for Lovie and with Orton is going to keep him in check? Peace

So are you comparing McMichael, Hampton, and McMahon to TO? Are you saying they were locker room cancers in the same vain? Honestly, I think you are way, way over your skis if you believe that. I could really care less what an arse hat like TO says in front of the media. Again, to me, he is the clear definition of a locker room cancer. Peace

I want the Bears to win. I simply do not want a pos like Owens on my team. The guy is the definition of locker room cancer. Peace
  23. 185 million allocated for contracts last yr is not cheap IMHO. PS - please check the speling on my name going forward. Peace
  24. Personally, I think this is BS. The Bears have spent up to the cap for years. You can call them cheap when it comes to coaching hirings, but they have spent the money on players. Peace
  25. He will be 33 in June. Peace
