Berrian was a nice receiver but not worth the dough the Queens gave him. He played great in the playoffs last yr but had some real issues this past season. Peace

Worst case, Url pulls a Walter Jones and doesn't show until 2 weeks before the start of the season. I really don't think that will happen because it will kill his image with Bears fans. I simply do not see the Bears giving him much more than they have offered. They have all the leverage. Peace

Got it. Still, I would not trade a proven player still in his youth for a prospect. We saw how much better the defense looked with Vash back on the field at the end of last yr. I would be willing to give them RMJ and our first next yr for Quinn though I do not think they would do that. Peace

How do you know Quinn is a blue chip QB prospect? Has he even played a down in the NFL? You have a blue chip player in Vasher who is a very, very good cornerback. All things being equal, I would not make this trade. Peace

If he is around next yr, and I think it's a big if, he will be gone next yr as his salary shoots up over 4 million next yr. Peace

Agreed. In general, WRs take 2 to 3 yrs to develop. Anything we get from this yr will be a positive. Peace

Numbers game does not look good for RMJ to stay on the team. 1 - Tillman & Vasher Starters 2 - McBride, Graham, Bowman, D Manning backups Given that Manning Jr. is paid as a starter, I see the Bears moving him. Peace

You can't trade Vasher as you signed him to a rather large extension last yr. Cleveland is not going to let go of Quinn just yet. I would be happy if we could get a 4th rounder for Manning Jr. Peace

I am simply saying if you are a wealthy celebrity you should go out of your way to avoid negative situations. He had been searched every time on the lake. If he was planning on having alcohol on the boat, he should have hired a captain (he has the money). The other option is obviously no alcohol. Again, this is just my opinion and we can agree to disagree. Don't get me wrong, the only problem I have with Ced at this time is he should have protected himself from this type of an issue. I will wait to judge on the rest after the issue has been resolved in the courts. Peace

I am looking at this if I was Ced. If my boat had been pulled over 6 times (each time I had been on the lake), I would know that they will continue until they get me on something. Thus I would not take any chances. If there was to be alcohol on the boat, I would have hired a captain. Peace

Unfortunately, David Haugh reports that Benson still doesn't understand that he did anything wrong. He and Jerry Angelo obviously need to get together for a discussion. Benson doesn't appear to me to be th brightest bulb in the box and messages sent through the media are unlkely to arrive in his brain without some striaght talk. I personally agree w/ Benson, and do not see how he put himself in a bad situation, and disagreed w/ Lovie's comments. I disagree. He had noted he had been searched 6 times on the lake. He knew he was bound to have his boat checked again (I am not saying this is right - might be a profiling issue). However, if he hired a captain for the boat he would have avoided this problem all together. Peace
