Nothing happened to change the fact that Trestman and this staff needs to go at season's end. Cutler throws and INT at end of half, anybody that wants him can have him. Can't get too excited over a defensive performance against a rookie QB.
Too bad the rest of the band of idiots up at Halas Hall don't realize this. Sweaty Teddy Phillips won't budge an inch to can him. This franchise is completely adrift. Who comes to save the day?
Four drives, 4 TDs. Unfuckingbelievable. This team is god awful. All the local media said Trestman keeps his job until end of contract, with ass kickings like these there can't be any survivors if this organization wants to maintain any credibility.
Emery and Trestman tied their future to this QB; they all might as well pack their bags. I think we have enough evidence that Cutler will never be the guy.
Very uninspiring 1st half. Undisciplined with penalties by Garza. No real pass rush despite Willie Young's efforts. Hoping for a better second half with some better get you head out of your ass play by this team.
I'm with you on this, I have the same situation with in-laws; the television can't be on at all, "Its meant to be conversation time", screw that, go the hell I'm staying home, eating some velveeta & spam if I have to; watching some football!!!
I've enjoyed the discourse. My view is pretty simple, if he can play ball, he should play at the next level. His skill set should dictate where he is drafted. I wish him good luck.
I love him, but I can't even imagine how Trestman would play on Hard Knocks, kind of like Professor Frink from the Simpsons. Or perhaps Jerry Lewis as the Nutty Professor? Hey Laaady.......
SMC does suck and I hate to think they would switch to capitalize on the perceived strengths of one player. I thought when the false news about Pasquenelli's hire that perhaps they might try mixing it up with some hybrid 3-4 due to Pasq's background. I thought that would be a good hire because clearly Tucker needs help.
Agreed, there is not going to be a full out change. Doesn't Tucker have more experience with the 4-3 rather than the 3-4; I'd rather he coach to his strength.
