Now, if they release Sims, any of these above free agents are gonna sign to a similar deal to Sims or for more. If Eifert could stay healthy, he could be a top 5 TE and command 8-10 million. The only other TE that has really produced is Seferian-Jenkins and I think he is real close to being a good producer but is coming up short. I am disappointed with Sims as I am with many of the offense, but would like to see him through TC to see if he can rebound. If not, I am sure we can find a cheaper option in the second wave of free agency.

I don't fault Pace for signing Leno. He is not great, but not bad either. We may not get a shot at drafting a great LT and OLB and WR are just as big of a need as OTs. Many scouts are already saying McGlinchey and Brown don't have the footwork to contain speed rushers, so Pace at least hedged the bet covering that future need with a favorable contract for the Bears. I think Brown would have a better chance because of his size/length and strength alone. They say one of the better prospects is Mitch Hyatt and he is very similar to Leno. I would rather try McGlinchey or Brown, worst case is they make a great RT. I am starting to think Long is damaged goods. We re-signed him while he was injured as a good faith type of deal. He needed multiple surgeries last season but his body didn't respond well and they decided to put off the shoulder surgery, which may have caused him to break down by having to compensate for that. Hopefully he gets everything fixed up this off season and returns to the old Kyle.

I would love the Buffalo trade. Could get McGlinchey OT, Key OLB, or Ridley WR with those two firsts. Since this is about upgrading the offense, I am taking Ridley WR along with McGlinchey OT. Round 2 we can get the OLB (Dorance Armstrong Kan) and another WR (Anthony Miller Memphis)or OT (Braden Smith Auburn). Go oline... Gould said he was glad he was let go because he needed the motivation to get better. So if we kept him, would he have been able to find that motivation on his own? The 4 million reasons were not enough, it took getting dumped for him to get after it. Sometimes that is what it takes and in time maybe he will find his way back to the Bears.

If they go off money wise, Glennons signing will erase Jeffreys loss. Hopefully they look into the performance and throw us a bone.

I am good taking two OTs. If we are at 6 and Orlando Brown is there, you have to take him. He reminds me of Dallas LT Tyron Smith. He would anchor that side for 10 plus years. I can see them taking Bradley Chubb OLB also, but building around Trubisky should be the focus. If we don't move down rd 1, then we should consider doing so round 2 to try get back the lost 3rd.

Not sure about him either. If I knew the Saints offense was his and not Paytons I could buy it. Maybe Andy Reid gets fired the way KC has fallen apart, but he would be another retread. Otherwise, the hot candidate is Frank Reich.

About our only chance for getting return was to apply the franchise tag on him for a 2nd time.

You know they will be keeping Bellamy, that is a given. LoL Who I would like, figure they keep 5 or 6. Jarvis Landry, Meredith/Inman/White, Wright, and 2nd-4th RD draft pick. Meredith and Inman are very similar, I think they pick one only if the see potential in keeping White, thats if they only keep 5. Wright stays to play the slot. Draft wise, Iike Anthony Miller from Memphis. Tanner Gentry can hang out in the practice squad.

Meanwhile at Halas Hall...... The Bears have brought back two familiar faces on the Defense. Lamar Houston OLB and Chris Prosinski S. With injuries limiting Roy Robertson-Harris OLB, Adrian Amos and DeAndre Houston-Carson they need reinforcements. Also noted was Quentin Demps S has returned to practice. His designation to return clock is now started.

Orlando Brown OLT has been flying up the draft boards as of late. He is massive and a force in the run game, but with his length he is tough to get around. I also like Mitch Hyatt out of Clemson. Hyatt would be similar to Leno Jr, both around 6'4 305 size, which they both only would suit playing LT. Hyatt has shut down some of the top pass rushing prospects. Sitting at a top 6 pick right now, I would highly consider Brown to play RT/LT. It would be a hard choice because I would also like Chubb or Key to play the opposite OLB. The damning thought is this draft may go down the drains defensively if we do fire Fox. The new coach may switch the Bears back to a 4-3 front, meaning we will need Ends and ILBs.

I think they should if they like a prospect. I still have hopes for Trubisky, but as they say, the QB can make everyone around him better. With that said, does anyone think Brady could get it done with this roster and coaching?

Sounded like Greg Gabriel has some insider information and him and Hub Arkush are working on putting pieces of it together. Wonder how well the team will react as leaks leak out through out the remainder of the season.

Had high hopes for him, but not sure were he can be used. CB is where I thought he would stick and be similar to Peanut, but they shifted him to S. With Amos playing well and Jackson showimg promise, it looks bleak. He may be better of honing his skills at CB with Fuller and Prince on their final year.

Leno is the least of the teams worries. He is an ascending player and we have him locked up pretty cheap as he comes into his prime. He may never be a top 5 LT, but it is not out of the realm to slot him in the 8-15 range. I would like this team to draft a OT to eventually replace Massie this coming draft. Orlando Brown LT from Oklahoma would be a huge pick if they could get him RD2, be would make a great RT with potential to play LT.

The main thing about NE, GB, PIT is having great QBs. That is why they need to get the proper coaching staff around Trubisky. Would love to see Fangio stay, but it is the QB that keeps long term consistency.

They have to hit on OLB and OT and it would best if they can do so with a 1st RD trade down. Would love to see them land a extra or future 1st along with a 3rd. As you said, they can add a good WR in FA and then draft one RD3 or after. Would love Ridley but without elite pass protection, the WR won't help.

This type of whooping by not only being out matched but completely unprepared should be enough to fire Fox now instead of waiting. I expected a loss, but looking like a circus is overboard.

Might as well go for it on 4th, better odds to get the first. SMH
