  1. We know it will happen. Cutler with 4 tds and a W is all that matters today. The season was revived behind him leading.
  2. I think we can lay this to rest. Case closed
  3. How bout that Bears bros! Our rookie with the pick and Cutler with 3 TDs
  4. Holding to 3 is like a victory
  5. Props to Jay, guy is tough SOB
  6. Bull crap hit there. Hope he gets a $50g fine. Tired of flags every play too
  7. Two blown calls, WRs not making catches they should, nothing right coming out of this. At least the refs can not be so obvious on padding this game.

Just the luck the Bears have. Last year we had the injury bug on the D, this year its hitting the O. Hope it gets out of the fast.

I am not liking the decision process this team is making lately. I understand the need to shift players due to injuries, but its not looking good seeing Hayden signed and released and then Fales being risked going to waivers. Might be some bigger movement coming.
  10. Well we end up with Chris Williams on the practice squad and release DeDe Lattimore. It's all working out in giving time.
  11. Thanks for catching that, I actually meant NFC North though
  12. No way man, Cutler is the 5th best QB in the NFL.
  13. Still would've liked to see Chris Williams get a better shot. I think all along they thought they could land Britton, and now since regular season has started Brittons contract is not guaranteed.

Meant to say there snap counts haven't been tallied or released. I know they played, just pointing out our first round player played quite a bit too. Conte actually played decent against the pass. Now against the run...he hasn't.

Fuller played in 35 out of 57 defensive plays Ha Ha Clinton Dix played 40 out of 52 defensive plays Bucannon and Pryor had no snap counts yet.

I think playing at Alabama helped his draft status, I do think Mosely LB will play up to his draft slot though. My guy this year is Ole Miss FS Cody Prewitt.

Last year at this about this time, Brandon Marshall took 4 personal days off. It was the week before opening season. It was later noted it was to seek medical attention on his hip, but when he was first excused it was only noted as "personal". I think Brandon and his young apprentice did fairly well and chemistry wasn't hurt from that missed time.
  18. Lets hope the additions/improvements on the line help he guys in the back. I was one that preached how it all starts up front. Now that we have improved that, I expect more stops and hurries. Nothing spectacular but enough to give the offense the edge.

I don't see an issue with Briggs taking a day off, we just like to make a fuss about anything these days. At least the players are staying clear of real negative media. These guys have put together a good string of staying out of trouble since probably Meltons or Webbs arrest...or the guy nailed for driving on a suspended license. Knock on wood that Trestman keeps there heads on the right page and the luck continues.
  20. I think it also says how confident they are in Ola at the swing OT and Mulligan as the blocking TE. I just hope Mills foot doesn't become an issue.
  21. I'm not sure how fair it is to say he sucks since he played decent in 2012 as the Nickle, led the NFL in fumble recovers and had one INT. 2013 he tore his hamstring at family night and missed the season. The minimum, we know we have a solid NB, with Fuller, Jennings, and Tillman he makes a nice vet that can fill in at any spot. Since he had little recent game tape, we were able to waive him until Wilson was eligible for IR. I'd still like to find room for Britton but like the depth at CB.
  22. I am kind of surprised at how unprepared the Bears have been in the ST department.
  23. Bingo! Figured they wouldn't waive him with the release of Palmer and his showcase game. Now Jimmy T, start whispering in bis ear!
  24. I thought Fales played fairly well given he has not had the practice time as a #1 or #2 QB gets. He also played with the Bears 2nd/3rd teamers in this exhibition and played against Clevelands 1st team. He has a long ways to go to develop the touch, but the Bears cutting Palmer and playing Fales shows they are not going to waive him. If that was the case, they would've kept Palmer to play in the Cleveland game and hid Fales from game tape.
  25. Some of us see the forest, some see a tree. I have us slated to draft S, DT, CB, and LB. Going to be another D heavy draft.
