Riddle Me This...
Normally 2nd round is where a team should go, imo. Unless you feel that is the piece that puts you over the top, then late first.

Jalen Carter to visit
I think he would be too big of a risk at 9 due to his size, but if we can take him round 2 I would be for it.

The Bears Big Board
This was one player I wanted the Bears to draft a few years ago. Poles snatched up a good prospect and we will see if Eberflus can get more out of him than the Rams. I see him being more of a 3rd down specialist where he can get after the QB.

The Bears Big Board
Maybe all it takes is a new opportunity. We played Dominque Robinson mainly because we wanted to lose, but Lewis would have been a better option.

The Bears Big Board
Don't forget about Terrell Lewis. I think he fits in the rotation this year as he spent the end of the season on the practice squad and then the Bears signed him onto the roster this Jan. Walker, Gibson, Robinson, Lewis, and 1 2nd round rookie.

My Greatest Wish Draft...
I feel like the Bears already shaved 2 years off their QB1s potential by not immediately investing resources around him. Let's not push this any further. The WR room is better, the RBs a wash for now, but the Oline is stagnant. Just think if Brax Jones didn't work, they would be looking at upgrading 3 positions. Bring in the best OT and C and the D can be pieced together. If the Bears are to ever win a Superbowl, it happens with a QB excelling.

My Greatest Wish Draft...
Poles recently said he will ask his boss before drafting Jalen Carter if he is there. He might be blowing smoke about 3T's too. I know the 3T is the key to the Bears D, but the key to winning a Superbowl will be because of the QB. If they pass on the top offensive tackles that can excel on either side LT/RT to take a lesser known prospect, lightning better strike twice, like with Brax Jones. I would love to see Poles/Flus 3T list. Most draftsites list 3Ts as DE or Edge players. The list might be better than we know.

My Greatest Wish Draft...
If Fields is forced to run again to keep the offense alive, he will have a very short career. Then we are back to rebuilding it all over again. Get him the necessary pieces to succeed. Since we do not expect to compete this year for it all, give him the weapons to do it on his own. If we lose because the defense, then we know it is an easy fix the following year.

Our first 4 picks options.
I am behind the times as I didn't realize the Bears were awarded a compensatory pick (258) Traded 9 and 108 for 12 and 33.
-
Our first 4 picks options.
I am sold. Paris Johnson round 1 and Luke Wypler round 2. That would seal the oline for a few years.

The Bears Big Board
Good article, I enjoy Gabriels insight. Paris is more NFL ready but Broderick maybe has more upside and more so on the LT. I've been waiting my whole life for the Bears to draft and maintain a great oline. I will trust Poles does the best thing for the team.

The Bears Big Board
I would hope we don't go RB, but this kid is one of those once every 5 to 10 year type talents. He would make the offense much better.
-
The Bears Big Board
It will come down to the 3 OTs. Our wildcards are if we take a generational RB or get Fields JSN. Carter imo goes 6 to Detroit or Vegas.
-
The Bears Big Board
He was not forgotten. I figured there was no way he drops to 9. I can add him but the only chance he drops is if he does something very stupid that we would then have to question the risk.

The Bears Big Board
Bears need a homerun blue chip star, so who do you love? What does your big board look like? + Will Anderson. DE A. Jalen Carter DT B. Tyree Wilson DE C. Paris Johnson OT D. Lukas Van Ness DE E. Peter Skoronski OT F. Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR G. Broderick Jones OT HI! Witherspoon. Or Gonzalez CB J. Bijan Robinson RB

Hot take- DJ Moore interview
I am not too worried as long as he puts up, but I bet this quote is planted in Claypool and Mooneys head. Any thoughts? Moore telling Adam Schefter about phone call with Justin. "It shocked him when I got traded," Moore said of Fields. "It was like 'Uh oh.' Let's go be QB1, receiver 1, and then we got [Darnell] Mooney and Chase [Claypool]. It's gonna be a good offense." it is nice seeing them all together building chemistry. Add Kmet and Tonyan to this group and this might be Chicago Bears best.

Jalen Carter to visit
Detroit is going to take him at 6, so no worries. He will only stomp on Fields hand once and Jenkins will get a 4 game suspension for ripping Carters helmet off. Carter will then tell the media he now owns the Bears.

Bears Sign D'onta Foreman and Robert Tonyan
True, and it makes it difficult for fans like us to see the pool because the mock draft sites may only list the player as an edge/de/olb. The Bears D uses the DE more so to contain rather than attack. The attack comes from 3T. We are about 1 month away from draft day.
-
Our first 4 picks options.
It was a reach any way you look at it, but he was a project and it takes more than a season. He improved the last game or two, so if he can take off from that, he could be the #4.

Bears Sign D'onta Foreman and Robert Tonyan
So who do we go with? We are a couple of weeks from getting into some huge debates. Jalen Carter DT Tyree Wilson DE Paris Johnson OT Peter Skoronski OT Other

Our first 4 picks options.
I still think Velus can show his worth. All it will take is the offense to click. Send Claypool down one sideline and Velus opposite, they both cannot be double
-
Our first 4 picks options.
Like last year, Gordon and Brisker were too good to pass up, even though a WR was a bigger need than a SS. Brisker might be my favorite d guy now.
-
Our first 4 picks options.
.I would almost say if he sticks hard to his values of not over paying and drafting BPA, he may not address everything until after the draft
-
Our first 4 picks options.
Too many negatives for Carter, so I am all In on Paris J, unless Tyree Wilson DE falls.
