Ken Zampese interviewed by Bears for OC
I am not sure about Zampese at all. Everything I hear has been good though. From what I have hear Zampese has ties to the Air Coryell system because of his dad.

So what players won't be back?
Please keep in mind that this isn't my thought, I was just simply stating what was said. I believe it will be hard to move back into the 2nd round. It maybe easier if we make a trade on draft day though to get into the 2nd though. FYI I believe it was the Mully and Hanley show. I listen to the SCORE while I am at work and that is between 3-6am every morning. So I catch the Les Grabstein show from 4-5 and then I normally catch the beginning of the mully and hanley show.

I completely agree with the fact of losing the round ahead of where u drafted the player at. I also don't think we should be able to keep any player for more than 1 or 2 years.

So what players won't be back?
I am not sure how or who they think we might trade. They were just saying that they wouldn't be shocked if JA did every thing he could to trade back into the 2nd rounder.

So what players won't be back?
For a good portion in the morning I have been listening to the SCORE and almost everyone has been agreeing that they expect Angelo to make a move to get back into at least the 2nd round.

Who do I want for OC?
I completely agree there. I think we would be looking at least pretty good at coaching then outside of the 3 stooges.

I like 2 because of who I could possible keep. I will obviously keep Johnson, I would be a fool not to. My other choice would be Aaron Rodgers in the 3rd round and Cedric Benson in the 11th round.

Who do I want for OC?
I heard Zorn's name mentioned earlier and was a bit shocked. R we trying to load the team up with a bunch of former HC's

I might be okay with this
Fewell is the guy that I want because we are sticking with the Cover 2 and Fewell has experience with the Cover 2 both here in Chicago and even outside of here as well. I am pissed that Lovie is determined to live and die with it. If he was willing to change schemes I don't know who I would want and I don't think I would want Fewell as I would like to change schemes all together.

Fewell to accept DC position
I personally want Feweel for DC and I did want Bates but since he is going to Seattle, I want Clements.

Fewell to accept DC position
He must be doing something right for his name is being mentioned everywhere or do you think it is just because he is african american and to satisfy the rooney rule. If we listen to some posters on here we would be trading/cutting at least half of this team. We should fire every single coach on this staff. Every body in management should die(since they won't relinquish control of team). Please tell me if I forgot anything here. After a loss I swear if I come on here we are the worst team in the league and we would be lucky to beat a High School team. But yet, come here after a win and there are usualy mixed results at least. After all this time on this board I never thought I would agree with NFO so often.

Fewell to accept DC position
This is great news I think. When he was here he was the DB coach and that just happend to be the last time our DB's were any good. Hopefully he will be able to get the most out of our young group of DB's and hope that Marinelli will be able to get something out of the DLINE now that they will have a year under there belts being with him.

Looks like we have pretty much come to an agreement with 60/30/10 payout and also keeping 2 keepers.

Martz?!?!?!
I guess the question now that Bates is going to go to Seattle with Carroll, who else is a possible option other than Martz. I don't want Martz as he will get Cutler killed.

Bates Might Be Going to Seattle
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4810861 Looks like Carroll will go to Seattle and Bates will join him there.

I totally agree that we should not be allowed to keep our 1st round draft pick. I wouldn't have kept my 1st rounder anyways.

Cutler "Coach Killer"????
I also believe it was Pep and then I heard I think it was yesterday morning that Pep was offered a HC job in college. I think I spend the rest of my route dying of laughter. I just couldn't believe that. People spend so much time criticizing Cutler for his 26 INT's he had this year and rightfully so. He had a bad year and I criticized him to but why can't anyone look at the good things that he did. If you remember right coming into this season all the analyst's including some here was screaming about the "VERY BAD" wr crop that we had. Most of us here was at least intelligent enough to realize that it was a very young group and not that it was really bad. Most of us also realized that it would take time for Cutler to be able to click with the WR's crop as well. How many of us thought that he would almost break the Bears record for most passing yards in a single season with this WR crew without getting a #1??? How many of us thought he would throw 27 TD's this past year with this WR crew without getting a #1??? I am guessing not many. Think about this for just a sec. In Denver he had a very good offensive line that excelled at opening up running lanes which also allowed Cutler time to throw. He was also throwing to receivers like Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal and Brandon Stokley and the best he did was in 2008 when he threw for 25 td's. Also in 2008 he only got sacked 11 times as opposed to this past year when he got sacked 35 times. So basically he got sacked more times throwing the ball less and to "very bad WR's" and yet he throws for more TD's. I understand the INT's killed and especially the red zone turnovers but lets not forget about the good things that he did for us.

How soon do the Bears announce replacements?
The probably that Bates had is that he came in thinking that Sanchez would still be there and then he leaves for the NFL and Bates gets stuck with a TRUE freshman running the offense. I knew it would be trouble at least for the immediate future. I heard this morning on the score overnight with Les Grobstein that Bates prefers the NFL over college because for what ever reason he doesn't connect well with the 18 and 19 yr old's. Also if I am remembering the right not only did USC lose Sanchez to the NFL but they also lost the big playmaker Patrick Turner to the NFL. He had 10 TD's i think his senior season.

Martz?!?!?!
I do not like Martz at all to run this system. I like his style of offense as it does open things up and scares the defensive coordinator. If Lovie believes with what he has been saying since day 1 then Martz should not be here for 2010. Lovie says we get of the bus running the football. Martz's offense doesn't really do that. Also his style of offense can get a QB killed if the Oline can not protect long enough. I am a huge fan of bringin in Jeremy Bates. He has past ties with Cutler and he does know what to do with him. I also heard that he is a young guy that tells it like it is and doesn't have a problem getting in the QB's face for making mistakes. Thi is exactly what we need.
