Game just started and we are already complaining about the refs. Absolutely horrible. It was clear that wasn't a face mask.

I have several question marks due to injuries and bye weeks this week. Jay Cutler or Tom Brady? Generally speaking I don't sit Brady but Cutler has such a favorable matchup. Which 2 RB's do you start, Clinton Portis, Joseph Addai, or Ronnie Brown? Also due to injuries I am having to start Kelley Washington or I can pickup Mark Clayton?

I want Minny in the Playoffs, of course that is when they come to us so we can send them home packing.

With the state of our Oline almost every down and situation is a passing down. NFO, its funny how I have seen myself agreeing with you more and more over the past year but you right on about this. That play was dead to begin with however in a 3rd and 1 situation and we are going run the ball I think I would almost prefer to put Peterson back there if they really want to rest Forte. Peterson has shown the ability to fight for those tough yards and he has shown the ability to run the ball up the gut and be successful at it.

I agree with the part about Briggs. Hes been to several pro bowls now and he was named Defensive Player of the Week for a reason last week recording 8 tkls, 1int and 1 sack.

No way, I like our backup in Caleb Hanie. What has this guy done to piss people off and not like. Do people think he sucks just because he hasn't played in a game yet. I personally would rather keep that space open in case of injury to a position.

Your absolutely right, if you look at our remainder schedule it isn't that bad.

You are correct he was there MLB and he was there leading tackler several years running.

Don't get me wrong I am not saying that this Defense is great or is even playing great. I am just simply stating that this Defense is already better than last year. We are getting pressure on the QB, weather it is coming from a blitz or the Dline or the secondary it doesn't matter. I think you can agree that with Smith calling the plays we are better off and this Dline is getting more pressure on the QB than they did last year. The line hardly got any pressure on the QB last year at all. The Dline completely sucked which is why we were 30th against the pass last year because our defense is predicated on the fact that the Dline MUST get pressure on the QB. Another problem that we have had for several years now though is that we struggle against a scrambling style QB or a very athletic one like we saw from BIG Ben and from Seneca Wallace. Wallace maybe a backup but he is a very very athletic QB who can take off and run at any time, his problem is playing QB although he is much better than some people want to give him credit for. Big Ben on the other hand is an extremely difficult QB to take down. In the 1st game in GB we played Rodgers and he his althetism isn't like that of Big Ben and Seneca Wallace. That is one reason why we got tons of pressure on Rodgers and did get 4 sacks that game. I do agree that in some cases sacks are overrated.

From what I have heard and read about Pisa he should be back after the by week.

Your right and if we do hang on to win that game everyone would be talking about how Cutler was able to put his previous problems behind him to will us to win the game and then right now we would be talking about how Cutler would have 3 straight come from behind wins.

That is a very simple question to answer. Easier to WIN with there star out. I have said it at least a 1000 times in the past 2 weeks. It doesn't matter how you win just as long as you win. There is no where that says that a WIN only counts against a fully healthy team playing at there best. Its called being opportunistic. We have to take advantage of this. Its got nothing to do with confidence. I hope all of us believe we can win this game by at least 10 pts even with them fully healthy. But it doesn't matter to me if we win by 1 pt or by 50 pts. A win is a win no matter how you slice it up and at the end of the year you look at how many wins did we have.

It seems like the same that they did back in 2005 when Grossman was destroying teams with his arm that was until the teams realized that and started to drop back when he really started to struggle. The difference now is that we have a QB that can still beat you if they play the pass.

Seriously I beat my high school team could beat them or at least give them a run for there money.

If you read what you are writing you would swear that this Defense just sucks. That was last year remember 21st in the league(5th against the Run and 30th against the Pass and 22nd in sacks) This year we are 9th ranked D(12th against the pass, 13th against the rush and 4th in the league in sacks. I would say that this is a major improvement from last year.

No one has to pay me to watch a football game. It doesn't matter what type of game and doesn't matter who is playing. It can high school and I will still watch. If my wife didn't work the weekends I think she would get sick of seeing me on the couch all weekend watching nothing but football. There is a reason that I bought the football package.

The Raiders are better than some think. There D is for real, however they have suffered a lot of injuries so far but there not that bad. The offfensive problems is completely 100% to blame on Russell though. My best friend is a Raiders fan and he cames over here to watch the game since I have the NFL package and he was throwing the ball every where except where the receivers were.

I am not happy with the Oline play but it is getting a little each game although Cutler is still having run a little bit. But how in the world can you sit there and say that our Dline sucks. Are you seriously watching the same games that the rest of us are. As a team last year we had 27 sacks and 21 1/2 came from the Dline. That sucks as that is less than 2 sacks per game as a team and just over 1 sack a game from the Dline. This year in just 3 games we have 9 sacks and 6 of those sacks have come from the Dline. At our current pass we would end with 48 sacks with 32 coming from the dline. If that pace continues that we have put us in a tie for 3rd most in the league last year. That isn't bad. If you were to say the DT's haven't played well I would agree but don't sit there and blame the entire line for the DT's problems.

I completely agree. I don't think Detroit is as bad as people say they are and I thought they had a great off season especially there draft. Stafford is a rookie starting QB and usually thats not good. He isn't doing well but most expected to see that. I wonder who is worse Cleveland or Washington??? Its funny how now that Mangini is gone the Jets are 3-0 with a rookie QB. lol.

And this was the same guy that was calling out our DB's. I think our DB's won. Usually when a football player calls out an opponent, the opponent wins. Maybe players will stop guaranteeing things.

I am hearing that we deserved to lose the game and that we shouldn't have won but lets think about that for 1 minute. If we play an horrible game in which Cutler throws 4 INT's but yet we won the game because there FG kicker missed 3 FG's and that game was the Super Bowl. Would you be pissed or elated. Thats what I thought. A win is a win no matter how you slice it up. In order to get to the Super Bow you must make the playoffs, in order to make it to the playoffs you must win games. Where does it state that you must play clean football in order to make it to the playoffs. As much as every here would like to see us play a flawless game in all 3 phases of the game, we must remember that human's are playing this game and Humans make mistakes. So before we start complaining once again lets think about this for a minute.
