Question for those who are in the group that wants to keep fox around. Coming in to this game John fox is 12-31 here in Chicago. He's been favored to win 6 games and in those 6 games he is 0-6. We are favored in this matchup. If we lose this game now will your thinking be then?

I disagree. Sure it helps but what trubisky needs more than anything is WRs who can at least get open every now and then. Think about it. Inman is by far and away our best WR. But in reality he's nothing more than good #3 or #4 option. Nobody else is worth a damn. And this Oline once again like I was saying since preseason can't stay healthy. We are close to having a top 5 defense but unless trubisky gets some weapons none of it will matter in my opinion

Getting trevethan back is the key for me. This defense looks completely lost when he's out. And when he's in there the defense looks top 5

Absolutely. Couldn't agree more. At least this time we have done nice young players to build around. Just need a coaching staff who can get the best out of them.

Absolutely. Couldn't agree more. The team's that are competitive every yr are the teams that have a proven QB and those teams get guys who can help that qb. A top QB can't do everything all by himself. They need players around them

I can't say a trust pace to make the right coaching call or not. But sticking with the same as we have for the past 3 yrs and hoping for a miracle is foolish. Most coaches who are worth a damn aren't going to come here for what is most likely 1 yr and done. Coaches would take notice that fox most likely ain't getting renewed. They will see that we haven't done squat in 7 yrs now and under fox we are getting blown out in a high percentage of our games. We aren't just a couple patch work guys from going on a deep Superbowl run. We have holes every where except probably RB. This isn't a grade A destination for an aspiring OC unless you can guarantee he gets more than 1 yr. Sorry but it's the truth. I can't stand loggains. But fox is also a problem and he needs to go as well

Ok but these coaches like stability. They like guarantees. Can anyone guarantee that fox is going to get an extension at this point. Fox needs to go on an epic SB run in order for me to see him getting that extension. Now with that in mind let's say the offense does well but the defense bombs out. Fox and the coaching staff gets canned which then means that coach is 1 and done. We've seen this play out before and it rarely ever pays off. And I've never seen it pay off for a team is horrible as we are at this point

Your absolutely right. Replacing loggains but keeping fox is the dumbest idea. What potential OC would want to come here just knowing that if things don't go very well immediately then he's unemployed when fox does get canned. I'm sorry but fox and loggains imo are a package deal
