Actually he's only been a piece of crap for one year. The other two years he looked good, he just got hurt. You are pissed because he is happy on his boat? Get over it already. There is so much more to life. Stop being bitter.

The thing is, I have mouthed off to cops when they pull me over for bogus reasons and they haven't done crap. But I'm also white. Case in point, about 6 years ago I was on my way home from work at about 11:00 pm (it was during football season and I coach so we were watching film after practice). I didn't have dinner so I stopped at a Mexican food place (Filiberto's if anybody is from the AZ) where they put the food in a plain brown paper bag. I was living in Scottsdale at the time which is a pretty affluent area, but my car was a beater. I'm driving down the backstreets and an almost to my house when I get pulled over. Cop walks around my car with his flashlight, comes up, doesn't tell me what he pulled me over for. Asks where I'm coming from, I tell him work. See's the plain paper bag on the passenger's seat and starts getting excited and asks me whats in it. I open it show him its a burrito and made some crack about eating. He gets all dissappointed takes a look around the inside of the car with his flashlight. I ass him what he pulled me over for and he doesn't say anything. I satrt getting lippy and he tells me to go on my way. The dude saw a crappy car in Scottsdale and a brown paper bag on the passengers seat and thought I was a dealer. Point is sometimes these guys just do stuff to do it. And I'm not one to stay quiet when I think I'm being jerked around, cop or not.

I would argue that your extreme opposite thought process causes problems too. To ignore that racism exists is extremely narrow minded. I'm not sure why you say he is beyond reason. He has experienced police brutality. Obviously that experience will have an impact on his perspective of such situations.

These really have nothing to do with this case because Benson was not asleep behind the wheel of his boat and drinking on the deck of a parked boat is not illegal.

I thought the same thing Lucky. I didn't know that it was illegal to have drinks on a "parked" boat. That pretty much sums it up for me.

If you bought a LCD and it didn't work you would just eat $2000? Come on, man. You talk about all that stuff like its a good thing. You get punked in the eye at a bar and dont press charges? Thats assault. Well hearing all that maybe you would let the cops harass you all the time, but 99% of people wouldn't without saying something. Its not against the law to get pissed at cops, especially if they are abusing their power.

Really? Well you sure are a patient guy. Somehow, given the personality of your posts, I doubt you wouldn't say something if the same cops stopped you every time out for a "safety" check of your boat. Who knows why officers do what they do? I have two friends that are cops. One is a perfect guy. Polite when he pulls people over and everything. Doesn't break the law. The other guy is one that speeds with his lights on while driving down the street for no reason. Throws attitude at the people he pulls over, because "he can". Basically thinks he is above the law. So just like in life, there are many different types that are cops.

lol I know it sounds crazy. My friend went at Christmas time and the most popular items were extra blankets. But I guess people shouldn't really be drinking and driving anyway.

Yeah but if it was you and every time you took your boat out they stopped you, wouldn't you get pissed too. I would because that is harassment. And I would absolutely give attitude. Sounds to me like they took him off the boat so there would be no witnesses to what went on.

I have no doubt they said this. They didn't though. Its one of those things that they pull you over for to see if they can get you for a real DUI. Shoot I have picked up friends from a bar and have been pulled over 2 times for not turning into the close lane. I got pulled out of my car stone sober and put through field tests. They camp people for DUI. Its turned into a big money maker for AZ. They hit you with thousands of dollars in fines and they make you rent a blow device for your car for 75 bucks a month. They dont even put you in real jail. You go to tent city, which is just what it sounds like. If you have to serve in the middle of summer or winter, sucks to be you. I know a ton of people that have gotten DUI's. And some people just wont learn. A friend just got his second extreme and he will have to go to tent city for 120 days. Another guy just got his third and goes for a year. In AZ there is no difference between DWI and DUI. At .08 its a DUI, then it goes to extreme DUI and super extreme dui. And get this, not only can and will they take your blood, now they are training the patrol officers how to take blood on site. So pretty soon they will just take blood on suspiction of drunk driving. So again, if you come to AZ, take a cab.

Nah there is no slightly impared deal in AZ. If it is not .08, then you are good to go.

The longer this goes on the worse its going to be for the officers. It already sounds like harassment.

Here in Az, if you refuse the field tests they arrest you and then take blood. The attorneys here tell everyone to refuse everything on site. The thinking is that by the time it takes them to take you to the station your BAC might go under the limit. The DUI laws here are getting tougher and tougher. First time offenders here now go to tent city (outside jail) for ten days and have a device put on the vehicle. They also have extreme DUI's and Super Extreme DUI's too. If anybody is ever in AZ drinking, always spring for the cab. Its much cheaper that way.

I agree. I am not impressed with AP at all in any aspect. IMO he is a worse ball carrier than Benson or Wolfe. AP should not be in an discussion for the #1 back on this team.

I got the stats from ESPN.com. And no I didn't laugh when Rex threw picks, or when Kyle bounced passes, or when our line couldn't pick up blitzes, or when our RB were getting hit in the backfield, etc. I'm not saying Rex is such a great qb, but Kyle is not much better if at all. They both need to show something this year or get out.

lol Probably the 450 more attempts than Kyle. Kyle has roughly half the attempts of Rex. So if we double Kyles totals he projects to 24 tds and 30 picks. Rex has 31td's and 33ints. Rex has 56 sacks. Double Kyle's totals and its 64. Kyle's career rating, completion percent, and ypa are all lower than Rex's. Again I like Orton too, but trying to say he is much better than Rex is not backed up at all. Not by stats or my own observations. Its just another example of hating on rex just to hate.

According to who??? If he was seriously the best wideout, he would have been playing. I will never agree with the argument that coaches sit a better player for no reason. The coaches want to win too. I coach high school ball and you get that from time to time. A parent says "My Johnny is better than that other kid he should be playing". Yeah cause I sit all the studs and want to lose. Doesn't make alot of sense to me.

Yeah dude. Ask one of the thousands for come down here for spring break in Lake Havasu and get dui's every year. I knew a guy who got a DUI for riding his bike home from a bar wasted.
