  1. TAke a look back at your posts the last three days and tell me who needs to get a grip. We get it, you dont like JA
  2. So really we signed two qb's that people were looking to take in the fifth round. I wonder if the doomsayers would have been in effect if we would have used the 5th rounder on one of them?
  3. lol. Hey next time you PM me and try to be an internet tough guy, make sure you dont have it set not to get messages back. That being said Mr curse words, that is an excellent comeback. Anyways, the quarterbacks available were no better than the Hill kid we picked up in FA. So if they liked the TE better I'm down with the pick. At this point you are just being mad to be mad, and being the stereotypical Bears fan that talks all this trash about the team with no real analysis or factual back up. And I am the one with no football knowledge....
  4. Funny, much of these reviews of our draft dont really mention not taking a qb. I think you are really blowing it out of proportion.
  5. great so people that know nothing about football are bagging the draft. lol Pretty much sums it up for me. Every person who does football for a living has rated it a b or above.
  6. Yeah I dont agree with that either. Just cause they do it, doesn't make it right.
  7. yes but he will do well there because they have a good line and good qb. Not the case here, so you really can't compare.
  8. Yeah but everyone is hating cause we didn't draft a quarterback. But getting the one they liked, and invited in, without wasting a pick is win-win. I too liked Josh Johnson, but after further reseach most experts said he was too short (something we rag grossman about) and didn't throw a good deep ball (something that is key in Turner's offense. We saw that Griese couldn't do it and it killed him). Again, for me, anyone besides those top two are total crapshoots, Nick Hill probably has just as good a shot to be good than those guys.
  9. If you dont play to win what is the point?
  10. We signed a QB we liked and probably could have spent a 6th or 7th round pick on. Seriously whats the difference?
  11. Yeah cause whoever we would have picked instead of the tight end would have been a whole lot better. Seriously dude get a clue.
  12. ...wouldn't have looked any better unless we got Ryan or Flacco. The rest are just not very good.
  13. Most of the grade from the experts that I've seen are B. Looks like a typical JA draft to me. After researching the picks, I give it a B. A quarterback would have made it an A, but really if they weren't crazy about anybody I dont really want them taking players to appease the fans. We got the quarterback they brought in and liked in FA so I can respect that.
  14. Yeah, yeah, you keep building our hopes up. In reality, we addressed the biggest hole of the team. Good move in a deep RB draft.

    Mendenhall

I agree. I haven't seen him run like TJ. Mendy is a North-South runner. This is why I say if we dont upgrade the line as our first priority, then Mendy will be considered a bust because there will be no holes for him. And we will be in the same spot next year.
  16. lol People in Az are smart. I've been saying this since day one of the offseason. OL is the pick.
  17. I too will be sickened by this pick if it occurs. IMO it pretty much guarantees us a top five pick next year. But then again maybe our oline coach(lol do we have one) will use magic to make the oline better.
  18. Again, how can he get more time to add to his youtube reel, when he doesn't get the chance. You can only judge someone of their body of work. His work looks good so far. And this aint college, there is no scrub time. All of those guys are getting paid. And I would argue that he can be used to run between the tackles if our oline wasn't so god awful.
  19. lol Except for the video of him in the beginning of the thread getting 20+ yard plays.
  20. Man, last year that was my big argument in favor of the coaches. I'm a high school football coach myself so I'm usually going to side with them, but they made alot of illogical personnel moves, they didn't call very good games, and the player development has not been very good at all. I'm not all the way to the other side yet, but the coaches really need a good year as far as player development, playing to the players strengths, and calling games.
  21. I wouldn't call Kruetz very good anymore. He got his azz beat one on one too many times to be a very good center any more . Plus he was notorious for pulling and whiffing on sweeps and screens. Above average at the most. For me its time to start looking at grooming a replacement.
  22. Excellent logic. How is he going to prove anything without playing time? From the touches he did get, looks like he proved something to me. Seriously, look at the Brown game what he did to that linebacker. You might have no problem saying you dont like him, but you sure dont make a very good argument against him. Jason, I think its a great comparison to Dunn. If we get a Forte type back it could be a little thunder and lightning.
  23. lol I have always been pro coaches, but I'm starting to turn on those guys. Its a big year for them I think.
