Maybe we can track and discuss them here. The Trib is reporting that Rypien was cut. Nothing else at this time…
  3. 25 more early tomorrow. There’s going to be a surprise or two I suspect. The positive is that’s a sign that the team is getting better.
  4. Ha! You could have said Michael or Payton era instead. 😀
  5. Thought I’d bring this to the top. I don’t have HBO so was wondering if the show provided any insights that haven’t already been shared in this thread. Most interested in chemistry between CW and the offensive players.

Just having them in the rotation will not only add something different but it keeps everybody much fresher. And the energy level on the team points to everyone believing that this year will be something special.
  7. I like a little meathead in my head coach. Like Detroit’s HC Dan Campbell. He’s got just the right amount. Not sure Flus has any…
  8. Any news on Borom’s injury?
  9. One thing that didn’t stand out to me was poor play from the offensive line. Was it that Caleb moved around in the pocket to avoid the rush (which he did quite nicely) or that the line was playing well. Would love to get your thoughts. I plan to watch the first half again tomorrow so might be able to answer my own question.
  10. Why not? In fact I think it’s a great idea.
  11. Nice drive. Slow start for the O today but good finish.
  12. If Baskerville pulls off another big play or two he’ll seal his spot on the team.
  13. I’m looking forward to seeing Caleb develop with this top notch group of WRs and a new offense. Great move by Poles.
  14. I read somewhere that without a real agent that’s the way it works.
  15. https://sports.yahoo.com/no-1-pick-qb-caleb-williams-reportedly-signing-fully-guaranteed-4-year-39m-contract-with-the-bears-203006735.html
  16. I’ll watch it but the Bears were dead set against this for a reason. It will not help this team’s development. I just hope it doesn’t hinder it.
  17. Getsy’s offense was dumbed down to start with. Did he dumb it down further? Like Dumb and Dumber?
  18. I agree too. For now. We’ll see this year if Waldron overcomes Flus conservative decisions when the game is on the line. I’d rather die swinging for the fences than pussy out.
  19. The D shouldn’t be worse this year with a pass rush for the entire season. That said, Flus’ decision making skills are in question and if he pisses away two games again this year, HE GONE.
  20. This is a threat to Tyler Scott, right? Or is it Velus Jones? I hope it works out for him!
  21. Borom should be odd man out regardless of the situation. Dude sucks.
  22. He’s a TE you put out there on running downs so should be fine.
  23. Not to mention the coaching improvement.
  24. I think the idea is to have a good rotation of players to keep everyone fresh and healthy. That said, you gotta hope that a top five emerges so they can really gel after the first four or five games.
  25. I think Bates has a chance of making the team.
