  1. Saw a social media post that noted both Chicago and New England were the leaders of their respective divisions then asked ‘what is this 1985?’ And saw an incredible play by Bo Nix a little bit ago that ‘yes’ somehow resulted in a TD pass.
  2. Carolina (and their own #1 overall chosen QB) doing all they can to help Bears take possession of the #1 NFC seed. Currently up 31-28 on the Rams. With that should the Bears see the Rams somewhere later in the season, it should give Chicago a good blueprint to play them. edit: Carolina wins after forcing a TO on Rams last drive.
  3. I started the season skeptical of Johnson. After the bye week when he adjusted and made the Bears focus more on the run game I became more of a believer in his ability to coach properly. I said this season reminds me of 2018 2.0 but what’s missing (so far) are the bone headed challenges, timeouts and other head scratching play calls that Nagy was notorious for, even that year. Today was a master class of play calling. Johnson went in knowing the weather would be a factor and kept Williams in the ‘game manager’ setting and didn’t ask him to make splash plays. Fortunately he didn’t have to. The running game and its blocking has advanced to a level we haven’t seen in many decades. This is really cool. I can say confidently; “In Ben I trust”.
  4. Grew up watching lots of Nebraska football. You’re absolutely right. This was their bread and butter back in the day. All they need to do now is keep running the ball.
  5. Loveland still playing clutch. And Bears running at will.
  6. Nashon Wright with a redemption play during the fu*#ing Tush Push. Gawd I hate that play.
  7. AJ Brown is the perfect prototypical big man receiver. Nothing but hands on that TD catch. Bears let the Eagles stay in the game yet lead by 1. Time to get some good plays in and hope we don’t have to pass a lot in the 4th….against the wind.
  8. Swift has 11 for 93 (avg just under 9 per carry) so why not pass? Lol.
  9. Weather still a factor (me thinks). Explains why Hurts’ ball looked a little ducky on the INT. Although he’s thrown a few others already.
  10. Besides the weather factor seems like a lot of players slipping and stumbling (mostly bears). Good thing Eagles are out of sync…so far.
  11. Word. And the crowd booed them on the way out. This coming from the team that is currently the defending champ.
  12. Eagles got that post thanksgiving drowsies still . Too much turkey.
  13. They have been really out of sync. Explains the question you asked earlier about ‘what’s up with Philly’? Announcer made a good point that the players are mostly to blame. Hurts isn’t looking IT today.
  14. Wanna think the wind is playing into this a bit. But…not sure why they didn’t stick with the run more on that last drive. Has been working most of the game AND if the wind is a factor so…
  15. Announcer said Caleb was heading left when he threw that. Replay clearly shows him looking right and then slipping just before throwing the ball. Funny stuff.
  16. Still playing good ball control football but petered out again in the RZ.
