Same. From culture alone, it's been night and day from what we've seen in over a decade. Watching GMFB this morning, they were so concerned with 2019 Lamar Jackson being inaccurate in camp. That led to his MVP. Then, they talked Jamar Chase dropping a ton of ball in practice, which led to an All Pro season. I think Caleb will be fine, even if he doesn't figure out how to throw people open. There are several HOF QB's that didn't have that in their tool bag.

No, just the right ones. Ball Busting 101: clearly states that anything and everything can and will be used against you. If you say never, someone else is gonna come in and offer a counter. This guy ain't taking your bet...🍻

Same era. Charles Haley That's why I screw with you. We've all seen shocking trades, so it's possible. Never, being your operative word, should never be used when discussing things you personally can't control. It can eventually bite you in the arse. It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon and I have have nothing better to do whilst watching the Cubbies...🍻🤪

Yeah, betting odds should 20-1 for staying in Dallas. Since we control Caleb for these next four years, nothing is set in stone with our cap space. Here's a scenario: Bears receive: Micah Parsons, Jack Sanborn and Cowboys 2026 2nd round pick. Cowboys receive: Dayo, Tremaine Edmunds and Braxton Jones. Also receive: Bears 2026 1st and 3rd round pick and 2027 2nd round pick. Creativity is bad bitch in the league. They can always find ways to wisely move money around to make ways to pay greatness.

Thanks for washing my time. There's not one darn thing in that article that lays out why the Bears are not in the running for Parsons. Again, I'm not for trading for him, but damn.
-
It would definitely peak my interest...

Jerry Jones is the world's biggest attention whore. He's the king of any publicity is guys publicity. Micah Parsons is in the same mold. This is just a tactic both of them are using. Jerry and Micah know how much Jerry has to pay. It has to be at or more than TJ Watt.
-
Not according to our OC. They are being extra cautious with Braxton to ensure his ramp up goes smoothly. News is all over the place. I heard today on ESPN 1000 that Braxton is the front runner. Believe nothing until BJ or Poles say it.

Micah Parsons is a problem to be dealt with. He could easily fit any scheme. Dallas lined him up as a DE on passing downs. They also played him at OLB. They called it the Joker role. I've seen instances where they played him at 3Tech on a run down and the OG and center both wiffed. He's a top tier athlete with instinct, elite quickness and top end speed. I said my piece about building Superbowl teams and I'll stick to it. I'm just not going to stand by and listen to he is not a scheme fit or would be a situational player. That's simply nonsense. Dude is a stud.

I would prefer Jared Verse over Rome.

💯 The Superbowl teams don't buy edge rushers anymore. The days of getting a Charles Haley or Reggie White are over. Pay the offense, draft the defense.

This is the crossroad. Braxton is 26 and a three year starter. I'd imagine that several teams would love to have him. IMO, we would love to be one of those teams. Of course there are factors in play, like health and play. If health is good, his play should continue to ascend. Like I said a month ago, if he's the worst starting OL on the team, that's not a bad thing. Jordan Mialata was that once. IMO the only thing that pushes him out the door is one of the youngsters and it's not like either had a first round grade. It's the best of both worlds of they do.

I don't agree with this. Kmet is a proven veteran and was paid according to his value. Regardless of the Loveland pick he has a place on this team. If you look at the TE payroll it is not out of line with what anyone is paying. I would actually consider it a value for a position of strength. That won't change next year either. Moving on to Braxton Jones: he is clearly in a crossroads. Looking at our roster, the need for four OT's is real. The given fact that it's easier for an OT to play OG is easier than than the other tells us it's a good thing to have four. Braxton should stay unless we get a good deal for him. It's good being in the catbird seat for once. I like the bargaining chips we have at OL for once.

I would be impeached for various reasons...🤣

I watch GMFB and the FS1 daily and get gaslighted constantly. I pick out the info and discern. The latest narrative they are constantly trying to push is the Coleston Loveland is Sam LaPorta thing. BJ has consistently said that he is going to Taylor the offense to the talent he has. He has also said he loves the way the Patriots used to give you something new every week, with mixing up heavy doses of run or pass depending on the opponent. Can't we just call Loveland the unique weapon he seems to be. The combo of him and Kmet should be nasty. The Steelers did the same thing when they brought in Jonnu Smith with to pair with Friehermuth. Also, we have seen the deadly pair of Andrews and Likely in Baltimore. Who are they to tell us what our team is going to do with what player? They honestly don't know shit compared to our local coverage people. I'll take the word of J Hood, Jurko and Waddle any day over the takes of the national people. They have know clue of our depth and development process. Have y'all ever seen the parrot compilations of the media, saying person X is a threat to our democracy? Same shit with national football coverage. Tune them out and listen to the local and/or independent dudes...

In those pressers foods of questions get used. It's plausible that ten questions were asked that encompassed everything she was going to ask. Then, it's makeup a question because I'm next. It's easy to ask Jarrett a locker room question because he's a locker room guy. Nobody is perfect...
-
My bad. I didn't see the sarcasm. When in English Comp, they taught us that the written word is way easier to construe than the spoken, due to inflection, body language and facial expression.
-
What's the use of finding the podcasts? She said trying and price was too high. Game over.
-
Same. I think she's fantastic.
-
We need to remember, BJ said "get comfortable with being uncomfortable". With athletics and military, there is a tear down and build up phase. It's how greatness is built. I live being uncomfortable for once...
-
That's a great find AZ. This is also precisely why PFT sucks. They have no idea what the play call and/or protection was when they write performance.
-
💯 It's coaching 101. Nobody is bigger than the mission. BJ wants excellence on execution.
-
Waddle was at practice today and echoed some of the expectation of excellence. He personally saw BJ chew Caleb's ass in front of the starting offense. He says he hasn't seen that type of command since Lovie. Of course, he said Lovie had his own way with established vets like Olin and Url to keep everyone in line. He also commented on the leadership of Grady Jarrett, saying he did burpees when other players were being punished. Love it!

Definitely balls out for the best edge we can get. They are ridiculous to pay these days. Gotta come from the draft!
