Larry Wilson, DB for the St. Louis Cards died. I remember him as a solid player. About 30 years ago I sent him a card to be signed. He thanked me for being a BEAR fan and graciously gave me his signature. I'm seeing that MLB stars are opting out of the season. I can agree with their decision, and feel that this is going to give a bunch of MLB wannabees a once-in-a-lifetime chance to make the big leagues. I wonder, with the way things sit now, will that spill over to the NFL? Where would we get "replacement players"? It would be a great opportunity for many borderline guys, but I remember the strike season and didn't like the on-field product. Great opportunity for new guys, but where would we get these fill-in players?

My fear is that they get to play all their games at the frozen tundra and end up in the big game. We all know that there is a real boner among refs and broadcasters for the Puckers. Witness what happened to us yesterday with the crap calls and the oozing over Aaron, etc. Give them a home game and all bets are off. Sad, but that's the league. Just ask the Pats.

Agree on why we won't dump Trubisky, but I don't think Bray is anything more than a practice arm. If he was any good he'd have been promoted or snatched off our practice squad. Draft someone in the later rounds.

Do we have a 1st rd pick, or was it traded to Oakland for Mack? And wow. I think they all read how great they were going to be and just sat on their arses. After the bye and all the "soul searching" they are NOT a good team. I'm bleeding blue, white and orange.

Oh don't even think that. He is a franchise LB from the team that IS LBs. Don't know what's up, but let it sort out. This is a young man with a possible HOF future. I think the Bears are handling this the right way.
