  1. IMdO, Briggs' loss is going to finish off the already sinking D. Rodgers is going to have an MVP game against us. I'm calm, but depressed as hell about the D.
  2. With Cutler gone there' even more pressure on Trestman to find ways to win. God, I hate this.
  3. Agreed. After living and dying with the D for how many years (/) it is wierd to watch the O carry the team, for the most part. Thank God we had the generous Giants this week. That win was important any way you look at it. ow, what do we do with the D on life support?
  4. And STs gives them a short field. Crap!
  5. Seen that several times. Thank God Cutler is clicking. We are going to need points in this one.
  6. The G Men do have a goal line stop.
  7. The D definitely needs a tackling clinic.
  8. Yep. This is going to haunt us if they can't get it fixed.
  9. Diddo. I want to watch execution for the full four quarters, and the team pay like we expect.
  10. !00% agree. Bears football is THE sport for me, and has been since I first followed the NFL in 1963.
  11. After taking several deep breaths and getting past the anger of my team losing, I think: N.O. is a superior team. The have more talent and experience, players and coaches. We did not get blown out on the scoreboard, and they only got what, two FGs the second haf? So that's a positive. No INTs, but Cutler seems to have a penchant for getting hooked on one WR per game. Maybe its just that they are open, but he does focus on one WR many times and forces the ball. But NO INTS, and that's good. Both the DL and OL were used by N.O. I was surprised to see our left side OL being beat many times, I can understand the right,, but the left are vets. And Long can block on the running plays. DL, what can I say? Not much pressure, and more injuries. Where's Peppers? I like Bostic's play on ST. He's a solid pickup and it would be interesting to see how he works with the D, though Williams is doing a good job. With the poor push from the DL the LBs are getting a workout. I hope these guys are anxious to erase this one and take it to the 0-5 Giants. Could be just the thing they need. We'll see if they can take care of business with the teams they should definitely handle, then I'll begin to ponder playoff chances.
  12. After watching the game, it sure seems like the D was roughed up. Now the 0-5 Giants.
  13. Shea isn't much better. D was giving up too many yards.
  14. we so We are getting jobbed by teams in the second quarter. And no pass rush is really hurting. Its time we had things sorted out if we want to move up to the next level. And things do get tougher from here on out.
  15. Agreed. Big picture time. Learn and move on.
  16. Yeah, its over. Hopefully they take some positives out of this one. But the third down conversions were unbelievable.
  17. Great news all the way around! Three kids, a handful! Congrats.
  18. Too late. You did it, but can't blame ya. My favorite teams are the Bears and anyone playing the Puckers! LOL
  19. Drink some Kool Aide and repeat: Bears Win, Bears Win. A close one, but we win.

    2-0

Let's hope that was lesson learned for the future.
  21. Oh yeah. Long way to go. But it feels good to be 2-0 and to have a bit more confidence that the O can do something when the going gets tough.
