I agree that it was lose-lose, but be realistic. Peppers was a nobody last season, imo. I'd say that Houston has potential to be better than Peppers was LAST season. I would love to have all the big name players stick around, but this is a Not-For-Long league and we just can't have another year defensively like last year. Peppers now has a chance to sign somewhere else. Good luck to him.

McCown was fantastic last year. I'd love him to remain a Bear, but he's got a chance to make some $ for his future, $ the Bears just can't give him considering the crap we've got to deal with on D. Those 21 points had very little to do with Jay. That hole, and then, the way Philly owned our D, what do we expect? I'm not very optimistic about our chances IF we make the playoffs. Our D is the worst in the league, STs are pathetic, so how far can we go on one leg? BUT, just beat the hated Puckers, PLEASE!!
