DBDB, thanks for the incredibly detailed rundown of the presser. Man, you were motivated and I appreciate the info. ImDo, I think they keep Jay one more year. Who are they going to find that has any upside like Jay that can win now, plus the contract is going to make it darn near impossible to unload him. I think Jay still gives us the best chance to win now, it is the other pieces that we need, aka DEFENSE!

I agree that it was lose-lose, but be realistic. Peppers was a nobody last season, imo. I'd say that Houston has potential to be better than Peppers was LAST season. I would love to have all the big name players stick around, but this is a Not-For-Long league and we just can't have another year defensively like last year. Peppers now has a chance to sign somewhere else. Good luck to him.

McCown was fantastic last year. I'd love him to remain a Bear, but he's got a chance to make some $ for his future, $ the Bears just can't give him considering the crap we've got to deal with on D. So, I say thank you McCown, I hope you get that pay day and I hope you do well, but lose every game you may have against Chicago.
