  1. So Lovie escapes scrutiny? That's aawfully good of you. But I put him at the top of the list. It is his responisbility to get the team through the week and through the games. He is not fulfilling his role, and it is showing with a 1-2 record.
  2. And you know our ole coach 'll come out ans say "shoot, we just couldn't finish." Damn, I'm getting tire of a laid back coach. I know I'm pissed, and I'd expect the guy at the helm should be tearing some new a-holes. But Lovie ain't getting it done as a coach and the team is resonding accordingly. If this lack-a-daisicle approach continues, we ARE goin to b e the worst team in the league. This is not what this storied franchise deserves.
  3. Ha, ha, ha, ha. . . sorry, I can't stop ROTFLMAO!
  4. Come on, there is still Kool Aide available. We've got a long way to go this season and we're only one game out of first.
  5. OMG the voice of reason, Pix! Yes, if Olsen had held on there would only be praise about another mistake-free performance. Unfortunately, Olsen didn't hold on to the ball, exposing the weakness that we have in, for some reason, the passing game not have any luck with the long balls. So, WE are discussing Orton, but you know that Lovie isn't, and shouldn't be, IMdO, even thinking about a QB switch at this point.
  6. Yea, it's far to early to start the QB rotation. Lovie is going to stick with Orton. I just wish they could go downfield a bit more often.
  7. Agree. Turner reverts to ole self. Can't pad the lead and we let a close one slip away.
  8. Depressing loss. Man, we had the ball with second and one and turned it over on downs. Couldn't see the game cause the G-men were on, but kept seeing the score and then we stopped scoring in the fourth. Let them hang around and it cme back to bite us. Forte is the man, thuogh.
  9. Agree. Glad to see tht he's giving us some solid youth on the Oline.
  10. Shines: Dusty coninues to get stronger the more he plays. Hester mkes up for the trip up on the three yrd line at Indy. Slumps: Forte doesn't ge 100 today. But KJ helps pick up the slack.
  11. Hey, Defensive Player of the Week. I think he can handle it. And I like a little bit of attitude, finally.
  12. Damn! There goes he outh movement on the OL.

Come on Pix, admit it. You're bummed that you picked 12 and still came in second! Hey, I'm happy not to be the last anymore. We'll see what happens as things progress. And yeah, congrats BearFan2000!
  14. Yeah, and after only one game of the season. Boy, those preseason pundits stink. Minny looked pathetic and you know we will be reved when we play the Puckers.
  15. Well said Bears4ever. When I see that our QB has thrown more than 30 passes it had to be a loss. Give me a game where we run 200 yrds and pass 20 times and control the clock. Means that the other team is in the hole and our D can T-off on 'em.
  16. I agree, but also props to the Oline and Forte. Team effort in that win.
  17. Traditionalist, Blue on White. Boring, I know, but I prefer the dark home jersey to the white.
  18. I always pour on the salt prior to tasting CrackerDog, Doc's orders! But I will say that I was 'concerned' going into the Indy game. Now i feel a little better.
  19. Agree also. One game does not bump you to greatness. I did like the D being more agressive though. And Turner did get Kyle to direct the time superbly. Hey, I was scared going in, though I did pick us to win. There were so many uncertinties--Oline, D, RB, etc., but this game gave me a good supply of Kool Aide for a bit!
  20. I don't know, just wish I could gt a good shot of Kool Aide. Our Oline scares me, though reports are that Indy's Ol is also a question. If the D shows up we have a chance. I'll be watching, and trying to find some Bears' brand Kool Aide.
  21. Agree Grizz. The new Trib site sux.
  22. Agree DBDB, and I hope we are all wrong here about Babich, but the proof is in the pudding, and Babich's pudding really sux to this point.
  23. Sure, it's what got Lovie to this point. But you also have to know when to"tweak" a system that most QBs are picking apart. How about some blitzes? How about gettting up on the receivers at the LOS? It is frustrating to see Tillman and Vasher line up 5-10 yrds off the WR and then he catches a quick pass.Where is the agressiveness on D? This seems to be a "we'll let you have a FG but more than that, we'll challenge you in the red zone." And no, I'm not saying go to a 3-4 scheme. Just adjust to situations and take it to the O, don't just react--dictate. Buddy Ryan must be LHAO.
