While they don't have an Julio type of receiver, Evans and Jackson should torch us. They have just enough running to keep you honest for the party action 20 yard strikes. He was pretty much automatic in college. I think it's a completely mental thing with him. Most here wanted hom in the third or fourth round a few years back. I like the look see signing.

He was pretty awesome a few years back and if I recall correctly he doubles as a special teamer. His injury was probably mid season so should be ready for training camp.

I want to say that I wanted a potential franchise qb at number three. My guy wasn't the pick but I'm relieved we rolled the dice and got our qb. As far as the trade, it's the going rate for a chance to draft a franchise QB. Other teams were leveraging against us obviously based on the way the qbs were consistently traded up for. Either you pay the price or someone else will.

Well, that's completely flawed logic Jason. If you want Watson you'd be fine with him at#3 or#1 for that matter. Only wanting him at 12 all of a sudden makes him a good pick?...geez

Best draft I've seen in a while Jason. I've been working on my dream draft that centers around this trade and Watson at 12 . I'm glad more posters are getting behind Watson and reinventing our offense.

Yea, I feel like the cupboard is pretty bare at that position. I'd love for white to be healthy and productive while Meredith was a huge surprise for me last year. The FA pickups are a plus though. I'd just hate to have a new qb and him have a lack of weapons to throw to. We'd then start judging him on the sum of his parts instead of his(qb) actual performance.

I'll go put on a limb here and state that I've likely watched more LSU games than any other poster in our forum. In addition, I'll make the same claim about UF (obviously), State, Bama, Miami, Uganda, Tenn, Clemson, Louisville, or any other Sec program. I don't get to watch our Bears games unless they are prime time because I'm normally driving from Tally back to Gainesville on Sundays and depend on you all for the in depth stuff but I do get to listen to them on Sirius. Imo, a Gm should make it a priority to draft a Bama defensive player every year he holds that title. Also, I watch a load of Pac ten games as well.
