Still kind of shocked that they were not ready to play against Zone. I get that the Bears are used to seeing a lot of man against GB. Capers is gone and a new DC is in place. The offense should have been prepared for anything. The GB packers defense had no idea what the Bears would run on offense. The first half they had a hard time and adjusted in the 2nd half. The same should have happened on the Bears side of the ball. GB's offense switched to a quick passing attack in the 2nd half to negate the Bears pass rush. It's what good offenses do. You can do that when your QB has played in the same offense for his entire career. I don't expect Tru to be able to adjust the same way Rodgers does, but at least a little bit. The first half got us all fired up, the 2nd half was more realistic for a new HC and 2nd year QB in a brand new offense. I agree with Griz, the number 1 offense should have played more in the preseason.

Nick Kwiatkoski was a step too slow on many plays sunday night. On one play he made a great read, shot the gap and was in a position to make a tackle for a 2 to 3 yard loss. Instead the RB just ran right by him for 8 yards. If Smith makes that read he's not getting ran by with his speed and quickness.

This is the most excited I have been in years. Still not expecting a win against GB. Its week 1 of a new offense, new HC and a lot of new pieces. Not saying we cant win, just that the Bears are playing Aaron Rodgers and he always gives the Pack a good chance at winning. Really excited to see this defense. Im fine with Nagy sitting the starters, once Shaheen went down I started praying for no more player injuries. We have had the most injuries the last 2 years. It will be very hard to win games if we see the same amount of injuries as we have seen the last two years.

Only thing im worried about at this point. Im cool with the 2 1st.

Im sure he has been working out. Its the hitting he's missed out. Now with a new team he has to learn a new playbook.

Also want to mention Mack was drafted 5th overall. The Raiders recoup their first and get another 1st.

There is no QB controversy. From last years game film we already know Tru is serviceable, he's not going to go out and turn into Jamarcus Russell all of a sudden. Tru is in his 2nd year but has a new HC, new offense and a LOT of new pieces added to the offense. Its going to take time for this offense to gel. Hoping the Defense keeps us close and we pull out some W's early on while the offense comes together. Pace and Nagy are going to give him a lot of time to excel.

Funny, I mentioned to my buddy I watched the game with that even the formations look more creative then what we had last year. Wonder if that was Fox directing the OC or just the OC's style. Kevin White - looked like someone highly motivated. I hope it works out for him this year. I agree Miller looks to be the real deal. Big WHAT IF but if Allen plays like pro bowl Allen, White plays like a 7th overall pick and Miller is a gem the Bears could have an awesome WR corp. That doesn't even include Burton or Gaberial.

Im shocked this is still going on. Hopefully since he plays Defense and those listed were all Offensive players there will be a different outcome. Can someone confirm this : Holdout started because of two things. 1. Guaranteed money over game play suspensions 2. Guaranteed Money over non football related suspensions (off the field). The Bears have agreed to take out or add protection to any on field game suspensions when it comes to money. Its now down to the off the field suspensions that he wants protected from. Did I summarize that correctly or is there more going on?

if Pace get two more players in the same caliber of Howard, Cohen, Jackson this will be one hell of a draft. If Tru turns out to be a Franchise QB the Bears are set to make some noise.

Surprised no one mentioned this from the video. He stated they have the players ranked according to what COACH NAGY is looking for. Last year Fox had no idea the Bears were trading up to draft Mitch. Nagy and Pace are working together on who they want to target. A big difference from last year if you ask me.

You are correct he only has 3 drafts Should read : 15 - tried to trade up for Mariotta 16- Tried to trade up to draft Carson, couldnt so then traded up to get Floyd 17 - Traded up to get Mitch. You get the point he likes to trade up to get his guy.
