  1. Can I ask why you didnt include Ted Phillips in your request?
  2. Friend of mine recently sat next to Alex Brown on a flight, they talked about the the Bears and SEC football for pretty much the whole flight...... Pace is loved by the McCaskey's. The phrase "Pace walks on water in Halas" was used by Brown. He thinks if there is a fall guy it will be Nagy. This was before the Detroit game tho, so depending how the rest of the season goes that could change.
  3. TE is very important in this offense Kmet will be great Johnson would have gone in the 1st without the shoulder. If his shoulder is ok they got two starters at two positions of need. Wanted Winfield but will take this two all day. Graham and Kmet in the middle = huge height advantage...... Does Graham have any gas left????
  4. How do you want Pace to admit he's wrong?
  5. QB's an article said he helped develop Cousins Wentz Foles Garnder Minishew this year in Jacksonville even tho he was let go by them after the season
  6. I played OLB / DE in college. He is mighty lucky to inherit one of the best to ever play the game.
  7. Fox had all the experience in the world, how did that work out. Roster was shit tho. GB's HC has 0 experience look how good they are doing. Side note, I was recruited and played college Football at CMU, my recruiter was Denny Lefluer , his son is none other then the Head Coach of the Green Bay Packers. I loved Denny but can not bring myself to root for his son....lol
  8. The injury bug is hitting harder then last year.
  9. I wanted Watson because he was a proven winner. Mahomes I chalked up to the AIR Raid system and no one has been successful in the NFL coming out of TT. Today Im going Mahomes all day. I could go on for hours about Mitch but wont waste my time. I hope the Light Bulbs turns on and he figures it out because right now it looks to be all mental and not physical. Point that its mental...… The scramble throw to the right side of the Endzone to Taylor. He had no time to think, he moved in the pocket and started running right, saw Taylor going up the sideline and ripped a great pass for a TD. If he has time he overthinks the throw and sometimes over throws or under throws. he's trying to be too perfect.
  10. Playing devils advocate on this draft. Pace and Co are trying to win a SB this year. They have the defense, they have an offense with weapons at every position. I would say the only weak position is RB. Howard is a good back. If they feel his game doesn't fit well in their system Im ok with them going this route. Having said that, Montgomery better be a clear upgrade over Howard or Pace will have made a bad move in trading Howard and drafting a RB. I do agree with you Mongo, I would like to see Pace be a little more disciplined.

    Mahomes

This is one of the arguments I have made about Mahomes. If you watch the Rams Chiefs games it was a 7 on 7 drill type of passing game. Mahomes is always throwing to wide open WR's. He still does make some amazing throws tho. Tale of Two QB's forever linked because they were drafted the same year and the Bears could have picked either of them. Mahomes - 1500 reps in College , 3 year starter in college Year one - sits behind Alex Smith and is mentored by Smith. Offense was top 5 Year 2 - starts and tears it up, same offense as last year. HC = Andy Reid - HC in the NFL for 20 years, helped develop Brett Farve, McNabb, Vick and Alex Smith. Offense is loaded with talent around him, most of the guys have been in the Reid system for multiple years. 2017 Chiefs Yards - 5th =6007 Pts- 6th = 415 2018 Chiefs Yards - 1st = 6810 Pts - 1st = 565 Trubisky -500 reps, 1 year starter in college Year 1 - takes over starting duties week 4 or 5, shows some good signs and bad signs. HC - John Fox, OC Lowgains - not a very good combo when it comes to offense and developing a QB Year 2- Plays a lot better , new offense HC - Nagy - 1st year HC, learning how to be a HC, in charge of the offense, 9 years experience nfl coaching. Offense - new additions to bring talent level up but I would not say the same type of talent as the Chiefs. Entire offense is learning a NEW playbook while the play caller is learning how to be a HC at the same time. \ 2017 Bears Yards - 30th = 4599 Pts - 29th = 264 2018 Bears Yards - 12th = 5502 Pts- 9th = 421 When you take everything into consideration Mahomes SHOULD have had a better year then Tru. Next year will be Tru's 2nd year in this offense, as well as the rest of the group. Nagy will have a year under his belt as HC/ playcaller. We SHOULD see a big jump from Tru and the entire offense. 2018 Bears offense was a complete overhaul, 2018 Chiefs inserted a more talented QB into an already top 5 offense using the same playbook as the year before from a HC that has 20 years experience as a HC and has helped develop a lot of NFL QB's . I don't know about you guys but Im very excited to see this offense in year 2. With the Bears defense and an improved offense we could see a legit SB contender.
  12. IF Trubisky develops into a franchise QB he can bridge the gap created by the draft picks being traded away. Also hopefully Pace can continue to find gems in the 3rd and 4th rounds. With the Bears winning more FA will want to come here to apart of it. Hopefully Pace can sign some solid FA's that do not screw the cap up.
  13. His targets dropped after his WR coach bitched about the play of his WR group after the Giants loss (or it could have been another game). I guess he was not running the correct routes. The score called it freestyling his routes instead of running the routes he was suppose to. I guess 1 of the times he ran his defender into coverage of another WR and it resulted in an INT. This is what I heard on the score sometime this week.
  14. If we beat the Packers they are out, if the Vikes win the next two we could eliminate them as well, correct? How sweeet would that be if we eliminated both of these two freak heads. How does NO and LA look vulnerable?????
  15. Smiling ear to ear!!!!!! What a freakin game. Tru sucked last night but I have no time to even think about that. Im too busy enjoying that W. I have sat in that stadium for far too long watching terrible football. Watching that defense is a thing of beauty!!!!
  16. Only knock on White coming out of college was that he played in a simple offense and lined up on the same side of the ball every play. Maybe this offense is too complex for him. I really hoped he would pan out this year.
  17. Well that wont be a problem, Robinson has a groin injury. White should see some more reps this week. I hope the kid takes advantage of this opportunity.
  18. If the Browns are cutting him is another suspension on the way??? What did he do to get them to cut him? Talent is useless if he is suspended.
  19. Nagy already confirmed this today.
  20. It would be very smart to have Smith shadow Wilson all game. if there is anyone on the Bears defensive front 7 that can keep up with Wilson its Smith.
  21. Watch it at full speed. By the time Tru saw him he was covered.
