The guy was a token interview for about every HC job that opened up his last 2 yrs he was in Chicago. I'm not the least bit bothered that he's no longer with the BEARS. If he loved Chicago so much he wouldn't have been interviewing for all kinds of HC jobs in the first place. It was total bull$hit IMO when he was interviewing for the Rams job the week before Super Bowl week vs the Colts. The defenses performance that day showed he wasn't 100% prepared for the Colts. Has he done a good job since taking over as DC in San Diego ? Sure he has but the talent on the Chargers D is superior to what's on BEARS D at the present time..

He has outstanding speed and was on the Buckeyes runner-up relay team last yr. Blocking sucks ?? Not from what I've seen and oh by the way I'm no Ohio State fan.

After he played all of 3 games at center and 34 games at guard. Scouts pinned him a better center prospect ? Exactly who were these scouts and where did you get your information ? A source ?? The guys that got the most reps during pre-season at center were Olin and Oakley.

I'd go Bradford with the first pick in the draft.

I wanted Suggs @ #4 in the 2003 draft. Jerry decided to trade the pick for Michael Haynes & Grossman. IMO chances are slim and known that JA even attempts to sign Suggs during the off season. I doubt JA has any interest in Peppers either but I hope I'm wrong.

I'd take OSU's WR Robiske in round 2 or 3. He runs fantastic routes and his Dad has taught him well. Not even wide receivers coach Drake can hinder him from becoming a very good NFL receiver. The last thing I want the BEARS to do is draft a WR in the first when Drake is the receivers coach.

I'm hoping one day folks understand this is Lovie Smith's defense. Babich does what Lovie tells him to do or allows him to do. Babich or Marinelli ? It doesn't matter......... Oh and one question ? Beekman started 34 games at G for Boston College and 3 games at center for BC. In an emergency he could play some center. IMO Guard is Beekman's best position and if BEARS want a replacement for Olin they should draft one. All in all I felt Beekman exceeded my expectations the past season.

I'm biased but after winning just 3 games last year. I'll take a winning season that includes a bowl win. The play of the under-classmen was very impressive and I'm optomistic about the 09 season. With another good recruiting class things could get a lot better. I know the best RB in San Diego county Tyler Gaffney has narrowed his choices to ND, USC and Stanford. The kid is the goods and could really help the Irish running game.

I think BEARS should hire Holmgren and Shanny. You can never have too many experts !!

I don't think there is much in Manning's head to screw up. He's simply not bright enough to be a DB in the NFL. Let him return kicks and play on special teams. He's proven he can't play in the secondary. A 2nd rd draft pick who most likely could have been drafted in rd 4. Another Angelo reach.

You don't care if anyone replies but just let me say I agree. Martz would be a great addition in so many ways and Warner would be a huge plus. I'd take Shanny in a heart beat and what's not to like about Warner when one takes a close look at BEARS qb situation.

Maybe you can tell me who this coach is you could bring in that's better than Lovie Smith ? I've yet to see a fan bring in a new head coach for an organization but you'll probably be the first. You can stand by what ever you want. Only 2 guys I know of who have won more games than Lovie after about 85 games. Interesting how Joe Fan always knows what's best when it comes to head coaches. If someone told you so called experts the BEARS would be going into week 17 with 9 wins back on Labor Day. You would have said now freaking way. Now you claim the coaching staff is lousy and talent is minimal. You too freaking laughable for me to even take remotely serious. FIRE EVERYONE !! You're funny !!!

Davis is a analyst with a bone on for some reason for the BEARS. Since the loss to packers at Lambeau the BEARS are 4-1 since the defeat. If the Raiders can beat the texans the BEARS have a shot also.

We are talking about the vikings. Throw talent out the window as it doesn't exactly mean a lot for the vikes this time of year. They have a great ability to choke going down the home streatch. Ya don't believe me check them out. Their fans are well aware of it as they sat on their hands almost the entire game last week waitng for them to lose. This week won't be any different except as they back in with a home loss and a BEARS loss on the road. I'm a lot more concerned about BEARS winning. The vikes will lose and go down to defeat to the NYG.

Win or lose on Sunday and firing Lovie would be moronic. Who besides George S Halas & Mike Dita have a better winning percentages after coaching 85 games or more as BEARS H C ?
