The top drafted QB will cost 18 mil in those two yrs and you have no idea what your getting. If Poles likes Williams he is going to draft him. He said ( a QB to blow him away). If you only could fill one position , center is the most obvious. Your list is spot on. If we have 2 top 10 picks, those will go to impact players. MHJ, Bowers, Dallas Turner, J Newton. If, I dont believe he will, draft a LT, ALT, or the other guy. He can fill other spots in middle rounds and still add quality. I think the center and Saftey spot can be upgraded in FA. Several young centers available in FA and you can always find a S there. I think he may bring back EJAC on a reduced salary, if he cant find one. He will concentrate on both sides od the line for depth more than starters. I think he may bring back Justin Jones, he has been playing well of late and wont demand a big salary. I also thinks he may brings back Mooney if Fields ends up being here.

The fans will give him 2 yrs to align with Poles contract. If fails, everyone is fired.

I think it's every one stays or everyone goes. The only other scenario is get rid of Gresy and Flus stays, no matter what he does at QB. For Poles is an admission that his plan didn't work and that reflects back at him.He will probably give Flus one more yr.

No GM is going to make his decision known until draft time, let alone with 3 weeks left in the season. It would give him less trade value if he does. I see him more praising him for obvious reasons. So many people have inside information to then be wrong. I think Poles is smart.

Evaluations of QBs always has its up and down side and Poles has totally been silent on what he's going to do. He did say a QB would have to blow him away to drat him. So, if he does draft one high, I suspect he will be sold on him. I cant remember, did Cutler get this type of traffic when we traded for him? Adam just look in the thread you took down and go back a few days and you be able to see who's attacking who. He tried to say that defenses have caught up with Fields and he can't run anymore. I showed him the stats he is third in the league for rushing for QBs, and said ( nice try) and he blows up saying I'm attacking him for ( nice try) . I think Daniels might be drafted ahead of the other 2, or at least right behind them in the draft. Scouts and GMs do complete evaluations and they get it wrong 2 out of 3 times. i dont care who is QBing the Bears next yr as long as Poles made the right choice.

You were in the music field, that's awesome. When I was growing up, I always wanted to be a rock and roll star. I learned to play the guitar and piano. Actually played once with Robin Zanders from Cheap Trick at a birthday party. . he lived in my neighborhood and was a yr behind me in school ,. needless to say I sucked but it didnt stop me from loving music. Houston hasn't been good this year, .05 sack, 9 Ts, 3 QB hits, 2 TFL. A young guy hungry for a job will probably be better.

Of course because they have shown growth, it comes down to which QB to draft? People with their job on the line screw up , I trust Poles but have no idea who he likes or maybe none of them he views as elite. It's probably more to do with luck than evaluating who will be elite. I'm sure no one thought Brady was who he would be, or how good Prescott, Hurts, Wilson or even Purdy would be. ( good not elite yet). Watson was great but I don't think he is now. That just shows you how tough it is to be good for a career.

Then I listened to 10 videos and interviewed by former players and they all were backing Fields, now Im confused again. None of their opinions will affect whether we move on from Fields or not but Poles was a former player , does he think like them?

Other than addressing the QB position, we need a starting center, more depth at OT and OG, if not even to compete for the starter job. At least one edge rusher, 3 T, and a replacement for EJAC, more weapons. I think he could ask him to redo his contract before he cut him. He isnt great anymore but cutting him creates another hole unless he has the man to replace him. I figure we could get 2 positions filled in free agency because they wont cost a lot, center and safety. I think he signs one big contract this offseason, is that JJ? Maybe the 3T spot because Dexter is progressing but isnt there yet.
