  1. Leatherwood and Carter are holding his own but Kramer is struggling.
  2. As I watch Bagent, as far as standing in the pocket, he physically looks like Tom Brady. Tall in the pocket, calm. Not suggesting anything but the look.
  3. Greg Gabriel said all teams get the tape on the bears preseason games but the practice is not shared with the league. They worked on what they needed to see, and not put stuff on tape for the rest of the league. I guess that makes sense.
  4. The only Bulls game I went to to see MJ, was the last game of the year and he only played the first quarter. Sometimes it works that way.
  5. Anyone know what happened with Jackson? Someone said he got hurt but can't find anything about it.
  6. Dave Wannsted always said you need to throw at least 2. deep passes every half to keep the defense honest. With our WRs , I suspect 5 or 6 a game.
  7. OG Nelson against our rookies DTs
  8. Seen a video where QBs in the Shanahan type offense in their 2 nd year averaged. 4100 yards and 33 TDs. There was 3 of them. Matt Ryan was one them, don't remember the other rwo.
  9. Another nail in the coffin for PFF. They had Justin Fields rated 69.3 grade in the Tenn game. How do you throw the ball 3 times (100%), 129 yds and two TDs and get a low rating?
  10. None of these additions are killing our cap and could be early cuts. Since injuries will happen, Poles is prepared for good backups. I totally think, the regime thinks this could be a sneaky good team. Over 10 wins. He acts like it's a good team preparing for a run. M Walker, YN, and move will be brought in.
  11. There is a couple of statements made when these draft picks produce. Poles can identify talent and the coaches are developing players. As much as fans have been here before ( optimism) , this regime seems different. In another year, we will start to see Kramer looking like he belongs. Boron played well also.( shock) From one year to the next, look at the upgrade of the roster. RB room, WR room, LB room, DB room, OL room, and I believe we will see it in the DL also. I can't say enough how things feel different. Was excited when 2018 hit but didn't have the same optimism with Trubisky and company. The majority are young guys.
  12. Dylan Cole is supposed to be a ST stud. There will be a few players kept because of their ST play. Hosmer is another keeper for ST. This roster is going to be tricky. By cut down day a few players are going to be an injury issue.
  13. It's interesting that the new LB, Mykal Walker, is paid 2.7 mil as a backup. Arguably he is similar to T J Edwards as far as stats. Does he not trust San born or Sewell? Is there more of a injury concern with Edmunds? He could be the third best LB on the team right now.
  14. Neither were brought in to be a load back. They will contribute in a two back system. It's interesting that Cook getting 8.6 mil overtakes the highest paid contract of 6 mil by David Montgomery. Poles is got it right on not giving big contracts to RBs.
  15. Walker has some stats. 25 y/o Starter in 2022 107 TOT 2 INT 1 sack 4 TFL 1 QB hit 4.65 40-time
  16. Actually last yr Carter was the backup on the LG spot. If they all play well, that is a good thing. Davis( until this preseason) has been a healthy player over he last 5 yrs. A couple concussions. Jenkins may be past his health issues but that remains to be seen. Have Borom been good enough to be the swing T? Havent really heard much noise on Borom. I think unless Patrick gets hurt he keeps a roster spot. If Cody gets hurt do they really want to stick Kramer in there , I doubt it.
  17. I don't think Ebner makes the main roster. He can still be on the practice squad. To many other groups that may need an extra body. DE: YN, Walker, Robinson , Green, Gipson and Lewis. I think normally would keep 4. Would will they do there? Robinson could end up being PS material.
  18. If he catch that in stride, 2 defenders were in the hole. He may have slipped them but maybe not.
  19. If you watch the play to DJ had he not delayed his run after the catch for a split second, he may not have found the lane to run. That split second allowed for a couple of blocks to be made.
  20. Teams are going to have a hard time keeping up with our offense. So many ways to go, and I think Getsy knows how to use everyone. DCs have to worry about DJ then Justin, then having the ball run down their throats. Play action will kill this yr , as you said, DJ, Mooney, Cl;aypool and Kmet. someone will be wide open.
  21. I just seen this today. Sure seems like lots of content for the bears this yr over pervious years. I think lots of people think something special is going to happen. I know I do.
  22. He's been on the SCORE before, he's a big Justin Fields fan. He is just screwing with people.
  23. He's making fun of everyone that says Justin sucks,.
  24. The backup OGs played well J Carter was outstanding and Leatherwood looked better than last yr. Read some articles about Nate Davis, he doesnt like training camp in his history but came to play when the season started. Doesnt seem like the type of player Poles wouldnt go after but his game tape is very good.
