  1. They still could be drafting a QB, but his conversation isn't hearsay, he's in the room when these things are discussed. People place value on other peoples opinions, yet dismissing Warren's statements? That doesn't compute.
  2. Seen a breakdown of Williams passing stats for last year and in 50 dropbacks , he held the ball over 6 seconds. 50 seems like a lot to me.
  3. In looking at information like this you always have to consider there's a high rate of bust with first round picks plus great QBs elevate WRs so all the great WRs aren't top 10 picks . A lot on that list aren't top WRs
  4. Anyone see the Kevin Warren interview by Jarrett Peyton? He sure does give the impression Fields isn't going anywhere. He doesn't have the final say but he's a Justin fan. https://youtu.be/a_gMxZF0bVA?si=bwXeCVJ_3yHyzDuD

Time is the only thing that makes any statement true or false pertaining to their future.. I consider him to be the only generational player in the draft, that's not a reach. Of course there will be other good players but the term generational suggests one of the all time greats . There may be a few of them here , but at this point, haven't heard people say that about anyone other than Williams and MHJ. I don't think Williams is that. I think Harrison is.
  6. Lots of things to discuss, but Flus is our coach, there's no longer anything to discuss. What does constantly slamming him do? As far as Fields goes, I've been clear on my opinion on Fields, I have never stated ( he's our guy, he can do no wrong) but I understand why Poles might bring him back. Not sure why that bothers you.
  7. You just exactly explained why these things happen. It has a culture now that supports people whether they are honest about it or not. If players were calling out other players, that wouldn't be good.
  8. No matter what points you wish to make, Poles kept Flus, dislike him all you like, he's not going anywhere. I would have liked to see Harbaugh come here but I'm okay with Flus because my opinion changes nothing. I want him to be successful, so I'm going to support him.

I understand the context now, im only supposed to say things you agree with. I like the way you say ( c'mon man) instead of I disagree. Can you give me the list of proper opinions to have on here. Apparently I have to have perfect English, perfect descriptions, perfect opinions or people give me shit. Deal with it.
  10. Never heard that , maybe the coaching staff gets him more involved this year. It's his speed that is the attraction.
  11. Not sure what you're trying to read into his comments. So laidback means he's thinks he's a bad coach? No one asked him to break down his coaching skills. Take it for face value, everything doesn't have secret meanings. Other videos he has given avid support for Flus, it's just what he thinks. Him liking him doesn't mean he's a good or bad coach , that will be judge by his success this year.
  12. He watched every game he ever played in college and I trust his opinion. Great potential with some flaws.
  13. I think it is clear that Poles never lets information out, no one has figured what he did the last two years and aren't going to know until he makes his choices. A lot of people say they have inside information, totally don't believe it. It's all projections from their opinions. We can give our opinion or what we think he might do. At this stage, it's all guessing on what I think he's going to do. As for now I think he trades the first pick, keeps Fields, and drafts a QB. Where he drafts that is anyone's guess. It Williams excels, that could change but the process will dictate that.
  14. Any drafted players future is just projection, some have many reasons that you think that but it's one to two years to know the truth. We are a world now where you have to have instant success or you are considered a bust or a poor choice. Gordon and Brisker took some hits their first year but are looked to be future stars now. There will be some good QBs in this draft we just don't know which ones that will be. Hopefully Poles figures it out. Last year Nate Davis came here with a very good player tag but with his mother dying it totally screwed his season. I think he comes back with a better state of mind and will excel. Nothing is set in stone in football, every year can be different. After two years it's easy to see V Jones is a bust. In the same picture, Tyler Scott didn't impress anyone but I think will take a big step forward this year.
  15. He was called out for taking some plays off in the playoffs, not sure how that translates everyday but it's not a good trait.

So as long as a play is called, players don't get credit for making great plays. I'm not sure what I was thinking. Every QB in the league would have made those plays, im just not paying attention.
  17. The key to any trade will be a second round pick and a first the next year. Getting a trending upscale player would be great but we got lucky getting DJ Moore, GMs will be skeptical to get taken advantage of with a good player. It's probably more draft picks as the cost goes up.
  18. People look at teams and rate them according to statistics usually. Stats place us there but if you're paying attention we are trending up. We are better than some teams ahead of us but until we consistently win, national media won't have a great view. I totally believe we will have a winning season next year no matter who the QB is. With that we will move closer to the top ten. If we win a playoff game, easily will be up there. That's why GB and Houston are where they are. I like being an underdog.
  19. I give my opinions, I'm not saying other players won't be good, but an exceptional star in the league will be MHJ. People are referring to a generational QB, that's what I'm comparing to. Easy to make general comments so you're never wrong but I say what I think.
  20. The only for sure pick in this draft is MHJ , and we have a chance to get him. Odds of a generational QB in this years draft aren't great, only one has that tag and Williams has questions that need to be answered before he gets that crown. Several have a chance to be good but Mahomes?
  21. Chase Young is not a hard worker, and has had some injury issues. He flashes sometimes but not worth giving a lot of money to.
  22. Stinger226 replied to jason's topic in Bearstalk
Mahomes is an exceptional passer but if you look at the plays, it was hero ball plays that got him first downs on those 4 th downs. He can do both which is why he's so great.
