I agree money will come into play but not for several years. 6 mil this year, 25 mil if we pick up the option for 2025. The tag for a QB in 2024 is 35 mil . It will be a little higher in 2026. say 40 mil? The cap will continue to climb and Poles is managing the cap well. Only 7 players over 10 mil this year. 2 of those will be gone this year and in 2025 both Nate Davis and Edmunds could be cut with only 7 mil in dead money. In 2026 only Sweat and Kmet are over 10 mil. We will resign Moore (23 mil?) The base will all be young players on cheap contracts, Poles moves are surgical to allow to pay QB in 2026. He will load up on draft picks and keep the cycle going. he will bring in people like Billings, Walker and Edwards, that total 16 mil in year 2025. This year he will tag JJ for 18.4 mil, 2025 it will cost 20 mil to tag him. By then Terrel Smith will unseat JJ. He will sign a few FAs to contracts like Edwards, and Billings. I doubt he signs another big contract. He will bring in a WR, FS,OC,3 T all on contracts under 10 mil. The other spots will be filled by the draft. Money is not a problem period.

Mahomes would not have been ruined but wouldn't be the QB he is today. Maybe moving on from Williams is regretful but winning is all that matters. If Poles takes a different path, he won't regret it as long as we get to the same end. Does SF regret taking Lance, yes , and their in the SB anyway.

If he trades him, a first would be great, it definitely increases the odds he may trade him. It's funny that media argues to get rid of him because he's bad and turn around and say ( he's worth a first round pick). The media is so flippant.

That's funny, if Poles drafts Williams, I have no problem with it at all, if he retains Fields, you will. If Poles thinks Caleb is special, he's not passing on him for a few picks. The key to the conversation is what Poles thinks? No one knows, people only guess or think it's not debatable but most people thought Flus was gone, that didn't happen. So much for guessing.

The only true generational player going into the draft is MHJ, some others may prove to be that, but no one doubts Marvin isnt great.

Whatever narrative you wish to push, there are a long list on both sides of the agrument. I listen to all of them and then try to form my own opinion. With lots more information to come out, a lot of people are saying, Caleb is that guy but that is thier opinions , I'll let the process play out. I'll accept whatever player Poles chooses. He is privy to much more info than anyone else.

Been to 27 countries but never been to PR, will have to plan a trip there, heard that from several people. Cabo is safe but Im not out at 2 in the morning by myself drunk. That may be a different animal. Between Giggling Marlin and Happy Ending, a lot of bars with live music, good place to go. Cabo Wabo is on the first street away from the Marina behind those bars.

Expense wise its like Californa prices unless you get away from the Marina area, other places in Mexico a lot cheaper if you stay away from tourist areas. I bought a long sleeve shirt, knocked it down to 20 (cool at night), then bought one as a souvern for someone and paid 13 for the shirt, always look around when buying things.

I think more value on the team leaders opinions, DJ Moore, Cole Kmet. JJ, Sweat, Edmunds and Edwards and rookie R Johnson.

Agree with all that, Im sure there are some players or some former players or coaches he may listen to their advice but his decisions will be a composite of many different aspects. Most important will be his evaluation of CW himself.

Lots of players and former players support Fields. Playing the game or being in the locker room probably gives them more insight than an average fan so I have a tendency to value their opinion more.

I'm not a big partier, but Happy Ending is the most reasonable food prices I found. Lots of expensive places to eat. Have some friends at Cabo Cantina, so was there a lot. Salvatores was awesome food with huge portions, got 3 meals out of it. There's a huge unfinished building on the Marina, every place I mentioned is within 3 blocks of there. Go to Happy Ending first, you can walk out of for 10 to 15 a meal, every where else is double that. Around the marina everything is . over priced my friend did it fishing trip caught a Marlin, 4 Degauto first and a couple Mahe Mahe fish. Don't know if I spelled those right. It cost him 300 for 5 hours.
