They have 8 in the box, throw a quick slant already. The plays that will be open are down field and he doesn't have time.

When the going to have him throw on the run? Pocket passing isn't going to work today.

You really going to have Foremen blocking Hunter?

As the DL develops, you're going to see more plays from the LBers.

I think Fields is injured, just doesn't have good reaction time to plays. He got hit in the head on one of those runs.

With ESB and Claypool not playing they lost their height at WR. I can see Mercedes Lewis taking a lot of snaps today. If they go heavy 12 personal that means they will be rushing a lot. Should open up Mooney on slants and Kmet in seams. Passes to RBs?

He had a broken bone in his hand, I dont think it slowed his workout time down, just playing in a game. Not sure how that works in IR, dont remember hearing people say he was around at practices.

Bears redo 2024
This is the 3 rd game I watched Williams play, the other games were better, he sucked in this one. I'll wait to call him generational.

They are absolutely going to run Foreman down their throats. I suspect 15-18 times. Evans will get some touches, he has speed. The best way to stop a pass rush is to not pass in obvious passing situations, with 5 or 6 rushing, there will be some chunk plays happening and that helps play action. It's going to be a good day.

Our best RB isnt hurt, JF1. As far as ESB, we have 3 TEs that will play a lot.

He has 2 tackles this year. Last year he had 5 sacks , if cheap, why not but he is not a difference maker any more, if he was Poles would have sighed him at the beginning of training camp. He didn't, see Robert Quinn. With the worst defense in the league why wasn't Denver playing him?

Last year, Freeman's first game start after McCaffery left, he had 118 yards rushing and 2-2 receiving for 37 yards.

His play has been praised but if you dig deeper he is just playing very average which is up tempo for him.

Fields-O-Meter
If we win some games and Justin plays well and have the # 1 pick, that would be awesome. Anyway we go is a win win. It's a bonanza of picks either way.

Fields-O-Meter
So if Fields plays well the rest of the year and we get the 1 st pick, then we trade Justin and take Caleb Williams, is there pushback from the players on the team because they leader got traded? If they take Harrison and a edge rusher, they should be ready to compete for a playoff spot. If they draft Williams it could be a year or two away from that?

We can lose the next 4 games or win them, I think we could be 500 very soon in this season. Minny will not be a push over but the coaches can make it easier for Justin. Hit a couple intermediate routes and they will have to change the rush sequences. Boom, Fields runs for 30 yards, they will all be jacked up.

If we end up with the first pick because of the trade to Carolina again, we have to give Poles huge credit. A potential all pro OT (Wright), DJ Moore, Tyrek Stevenson, and the #1 pick in the 2024 draft. 2025 2nd round pick. IF Fields turns into our franchise QB and he trades the #1 pick, he will get more than last year. Probably would mean we could still draft Harrison and multi first round picks.

As far as PFF goes if it says something good, I use it for comparison purposes if it's bad I pretend they suck. Truthfully its just a tool that adds to the judgement of a player.

Jefferson is being put on IR. I like anything that gives us a better chance to win. Minny blitzed 44% of the time against Mahomes. You will see a lot more screens this week. Hitches, slants, move Fields more , good combo for winning this game.

You have to give Flus credit, he's not ego tripping, he wants help with his dual duties.
