I agree with most of what you said but I think Poles is doing a good job. Yes he has made mistakes, the biggest one is choosing Flus or probably Getsy. We dominated a good team yesterday until 5:06 left in the game. The coaches let us down. On the TD pass to St Brown, our 2 vets in the cover 2 blew the coverage. JJ and Jackson. I think they will both be gone next year. You have to finish games. If Campbell was coaching that team, we would have easily won that game.

This team isn't there yet. They showed they can dominate a good team and then tripped over themselves. I never heard anybody say we could beat Detroit so the fact they were this close to smacking them is progress. Better coaching could have sealed the game and they screwed it up. Firing them now with no one in place to take over that's in the room would not work. Is Jeff Saturday working right now ? Fields played well but the play calling let him down. Is he THE QB? Put the ball in his hands instead of 2 running plays into a 9 man box and you may find out.

This is what losing teams do. Better coaching would have won this game. I think Flus lost his job today when you run 2 running plays and not put the ball in Justin's hands was ridiculous .

I watched a replay of Ravens destroying the Lions. Montgomery didnt play in that game but we have one thing in common with the Ravens , a QB that can run. If you watched the game, Justin can do everything Jackson did. The key to the game was Ravens were more physical at the line of scrimmage. They put pressure on Goff and held them to under 100 yds. They sacked him 5 times. When Goff is under pressure, he's just not as good. They attacked the Ravens the same way they will play us short passing game and the middle of the field. They only had 2 pass plays over 20 yds. So for us to get similar results, we have to get pressure and play our CBs tighter tov the line of scrimmage. For us , Justin needs to run the ball well and stay away from TOs.

I heard a former QB talking about the (generational ) QBs and then when he finished talking about their hype, he said probably the best QB was Daniels.

Am watching Williams today and doesn't impress me that much, a lot of short passes, missed throws. Last year he was king with a good OL ( 3 drafted), better defense, and Jordon Addison to throw to.
