I think its safe to say that even thou Mustifer has been okay, Patrick would be an upgrade over him at OC. This is capable of being a comptetent OL, maybe 16-20 rating on the low side, and top 10 on the upside.

I think Shocfield can play LG also. Leatherwood was listed as the backup RT, Im sure Shocfield can play RT until whatever injury Reiff has is healed.

I just read where the towel penality should have only been 5 yds instead of 15, we still could have kicked a FG. The refs screwed up.

I love these kinda of videos. I had a lot of doubts about the oline with so many young players but I think it is headed in the right direction. They got better as the game went on. I heard they changed some blocking assignments on the oline at halftime. Its great having good coaches. If this line grows with 3 and 4 young players starting, what a hell of a job by Poles.

Knowing what their defense does, Getsy will be able to make a plan that works. Only a few different players on D and he practiced against them all last yr. It will come down to TOs in this game. Also their leading tackler might be out this week, Quay Walker. 3 OL could be out, and Lazard. This game could be easier than we may ever imagine. If you look at 17:30 on that QB run, if Justin would have went outside instead of inside, he may have scored. Only one guy out there and he was being blocked. He got a penality on it so it turned out ok but he may have scored.

Team members said this was the hardest camp they have ever been in and I think it showed by their effort late in the game. Confidence is only going to make this team better with so many young players on the team. The young guys made mistakes but they never killed us. This is going to be an interesting year. This was an awkward start but everyone played better in the second half. Smith isn't up to speed yet and he will be better. Robinson only had 29 defensive snaps, which is amazing for his production. This could be Poles best rookie as a 5 th round pick. I think the rotation of the D. line kept them fresh and will continue to show better results. We have a long way to go on offense but this was the 3rd ranked D last year and the fact we scored 3 TDs is amazing. As the ground game gets better and a more effective passing game keeps teams out of 8 in the box, we will show better offensive production. We had only a few shots down field but several hit, which will open up defenses more to help our running game. Fields will get more efficient as the line gives him more time. The weather affected the game a lot but bolds well for not being killer by penalties. Take away the towel penalty, that was only 2. The better coaching showed in every area of the game. When I thought we could win 9 games, this game only reinforced that.

Look like a more professional team. very few penalites, keep fighting and good play calling.
